Beautiful, Clean and Kid-Friendly House in Terrific Location - Exactly as Described by Owner

This was our first visit to the Berkshires, and this house was a highlight of our stay! It was like staying in a hotel, except in the comfort of a nice home with many amenities. It was beautifully decorated, EXTREMELY clean, uncluttered, and very kid-friendly. The house looked exactly like the pictures and everything that the owner described in the ad was accurate. We had at one point a group of 8 (5 adults and 3 small children), and everyone had a comfortable bed and space. (The house can comfortably sleep 9-10.)
The house was well-equipped with modern appliances, and the kitchen was stocked with all the things a chef/host would need. There was a great selection of games for both children and adults - my 6 year old son and his friends particularly delighted over a large collection of legos in the house. They also enjoyed running around and playing ball in the backyard. The house has a nice screen-covered breezeway where we would dine, enjoying the fresh country air and view of the fields. The upstairs bedrooms have especially amazing views of the fields.
The location in Great Barrington is terrific - 5-10 minute drive from everything we needed - lake, hiking, groceries, shops, restaurants, bowling, etc. We also thought GB was a convenient location to the rest of the Berkshires, with easy drives to Lenox/Tanglewood, Stockbridge/Normal Rockwell Museum, Hancock Shaker Village, Bash Bish Falls.
Last but not least, the owner, Robin, was great to deal with. She was always very responsive and helpful in providing suggestions for activities and restaurants for our first trip to the Berkshires. We also enjoyed visiting her at her design store, Seeds, in GB.
We would highly recommend this house, and will return for our next visit to GB.
