Lovely- Key West Charm in Downtown Sarasota!

This cottage and neighborhood reminds me of Key WEst when Key West was still charming back in the 80's. The cottage was very quiet, comfortable, nice decor, soft sheets, excellent mattress, kitchen well equipped. We requested a grill which the owners delivered before we could finish our Pina-Colada's (hee-he).
Walked everywhere and met friendly people everywhere we went. Loved downtown and the beaches were about a 5-10 minute ride with lots of parking. LOVED this cottage and the lifestyle of staying downtown.

Excellent location. Cottage was so comfy, cute and clean!

The owners of this cottage have 4 other cottages in the same area. I have stayed at several of their places downtown and have enjoyed each one. They are all adorable, very nicely furnished, clean and cozy. They are a tremendous value for downtown and they offer free wi-fi, cable, parking, laundry and beach stuff!
I love the location which is very quiet even though I was in the the downtown area. I could walk a few short blocks in any direction for 100's of places to eat ranging from "cheap eats" to highend restaurants. I could walk to several theaters where I saw plays, concerts, symphonies, Opera House and 2 movie theaters. We loved the Burns Court Movie house- an historic movie house that serves wine and beer! It's was only 2 blocks away!!! WE love staying at any of the cottages.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

I am a young single woman who rented this adorable cottage for 1 week, August 2012. I had a wonderful time visiting family in the area. The location enabled me to walk and bike all over downtown to cafes, restaurants, theaters, galleries and the harbor. Traveling by myself, a safe area in my priority. The location was wonderful, i felt safe and the hosts were there to assist me whenever I asked. I can't wait to come back with my boyfriend for a romantic vacation _ I Loved it! It was very clean, the beds extremely plush and comfy. I give it a 5 star approval!
