About Greg Harvath

My family and I live on site in this historical, former B&B property. We love our home and are honored to be its care takers.

Greg Harvath purchased this studio in 2005

Why Greg Harvath chose Saugatuck / Douglas

My family and I returned to the Midwest in 2003 to raise our son near family. When the Goshorn House went on the market, we went to see her and immediately felt at home. We were looking for a place near or in walking distance to town. Luck was on our side with this one.

What makes this studio unique

A great feel to this property with its courtyard, gardens, and front porch. We love to sit on the front porch and watch local passerby's and you will too!

Wonderful stay!

Thank you for a great stay! Greg made sure to greet us and guided us in the right directions. This studio is located in an awesome and convenient location in Douglas. We walked to get some our meals. The dogs really enjoyed their vacation as well, as everyone was friendly and kind. The studio was immaculate and just what we needed!

Excellent place to stay and relax!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the Goshorn House Guest Suite. The suite itself is very charming. We loved the newer upscale decor with a beachy guest house feel. The pool was amazing and we loved just hanging out and floating for part of the day. The vibe was relaxed and we really felt welcomed there. The owners were really great and helpful with information about the area. The location can't be beat! We walked around Douglas and to some really good restaurants and bars. We also went to Douglas beach which is near by and pretty amazing. It was just a quick jump over to Sagatuck, which is much busier than Douglas. It was nice to come back to our quiet suite and unwind at night. We feel we were very lucky to find such a great place to stay and hope to return again in the future.

We Love Douglas!

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. The Goshorn Guest Suite is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable and meet our every need. Douglas is a unique and charming community within walking distance to Saugatuck and just a few miles from gorgeous Oval Beach on Lake Michigan. The suite is located in a quiet setting a block away from adorable downtown Douglas. The pool area is beautifully maintained and the suite is stocked with everything you could possibly need! We booked the suite last minute on VRBO and didn’t know what to expect sight unseen. We couldn’t have found better accommodations if we had searched for months.

We loved our stay at the Goshorn House Guest Suite. The suite was comfortable, in a great location and had everything we needed.

The owners were friendly and provided us with some great recommendations for dining.

We would definitely return for another weekend stay.
