Lovely Stay
This home was lovely and Yana was a lovely host. It was beautifully decorated and had lots of nice amenities. It made for a mostly comfortable stay. However, there were a few things...
1. Does not have central air conditioning. While a lot of homes in California don't have this amenity (and don't really need it), it happened to be around 90 degrees during the day while we stayed and so the house got quite warm even with all of the windows open and fans on. This wasn't completely apparent to us when we rented, so just a heads up....but again, on a normal California day, I'm sure this wouldn't be a big deal.
2. One of the amenities listed was a crib. However, Yana explained that the crib was very hard to put together, but said if my husband was willing, he could try. She did provide a pack and play however, which we used for our toddler, but our 12 week old ended up sleeping in the bed with us. She did offer bed rails which would have been fine for an older child, but we really wanted our 12 week old in the room with us.
These are just two small things, but beyond that, our stay was quite comfortable.. Yana was super helpful with letting us check in a bit early so we could put our two year old down for a nap and was very pleasant when she greeted us. She even checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. Her house was definitely family-friendly as there were a lot of toys and books for our daughter to play with and a bath tub for bathtime.
I would recommend staying here!
