Do not forget to go outside once in a awhile to enjoy the view.
A very spacious and comfortable Studio Condo boasting 650 square feet, it is really as large as most of the one bedroom condos in the area.
Located in the neighbourhood of Amapas on the south side of the Zona Romantica and overlooking Los Muertos Beach. Enjoy the incredible views of famous Banderas Bay and sunsets from the private terrace. A five minute walk from the front security gates takes you directly to the popular, Los Muertos Beach and oceanfront bars and restaurants. If you do not feel like going to the beach, then enjoy the condominium building's pool, which has the same ocean and Olde Town views.
Our condo is fully equipped! Iron security gates on all building and condo entrances. Also has telephone intercom. Maid service provided.
Access to dozens of bars and restaurants within 15 minutes walking.
We feel in love with Puerto Vallarta from the first day we landed at the international airport in 2000.
The Mexican people and setting in the mountains with a lush rainforest jungle combine to make any other vacation destination seem pale!
Now Canadian's #3 Gay travel destination spot!
Thanks for the nice apartment, everything needed is include and the balcony with the view. Really had a wonderful vacation. Hope to go back!
My adult daughter and I spent 12 days at this condo in March of 2015. The vacation started off with me arriving to a painting crew on the patio of the unit. I went to call the property manager to find out what to do and the phone fell apart in my hand. I fixed the phone, called the property manager and she said she would try to sort it out. I went to have a drink of water as it had been a long bus ride and there were about 2 teaspoons of water in the purified water jug. It was my understanding from the advertisement on VRBO that a full jug of water came with the unit and that when that ran out there was instructions on how to order additional water…. (I had also asked specifically about that to the owner, but realize when I look back on his answer that he was quite vague on this point)….so I was pretty thirsty. I heard back from the property manager that the painters would need another 30 minutes to finish their work. She advised to put my luggage in the bathroom and close the door; I did this and went out for water and toilet paper. (There were about three squares of toilet paper left on the roll; so pack a roll in your suitcase) There were a number of issues that followed which had to be sorted out, there were only two towels left out for me and neither were the prerequisite beach towels, no face cloths or kitchen towels. Fortunately I figured out how to open the locked towel cupboard and there was a cornucopia of every towel you could want. That was excellent too because we did have two maid services but one was on a Monday and the other the following day on a Tuesday….neither replaced any towels so it was good there were a lot of them. Thankfully we were fine with cleaning for ourselves because the timing of the maid service was not at all helpful or well properly spaced for our visit. The toilet seat was also broken off on one hinge and broke further before someone came to fix it…almost fell in the loo a few times. The toaster had to be held down in order to function. Both of these items were fixed about six days into our stay after a lot of complaining. Additionally during our stay there was a lot of building maintenance going on. Exterior painting of everything you could imagine, cleaning of the tiles and grout with toxic cleaners, cement work...Good points-the blender worked, lots of dishes, cutlery, kitchen gadgets. Lots of towels if you get the cupboard open. Very comfortable bed. Lots of hangers! Excellent WiFi.
The condo is in a good location right near a stairway down to the beach and a short pleasant walk on the road gets you into the centre of the Zona Romantica. It was so quiet at night we could sleep with the door to the terrace open. The kitchen is well supplied so we were able to cook several dinners ourselves. The view from the terrace is as shown in the photos. The bed is comfortable and lots of towels were provided. Communication with the owners was easy. The wifi worked fine. Overall a good place to stay.
We stayed at this place for 12 days and we enjoyed it very much. The maid came twice during our staying and did a nice job. Very near of everything as it described by the owner. I will recommended it anytime.
I loved this place! It was exactly as described. The steps were no big deal and and made for a great feeling of privacy. Plenty of lionesn, kitchen supplies, etc. The view is magnificent! I met a few of the neighbors and they were very friendly. The walk to town or the beach is quick and will be quicker once the new funicula opens by The Swedes! Communication with the owners was excellent. I will stay here again!
We've been down to PV three times and this has been our favorite place to stay. It combines good value and good location -- where you really only seem to get one of those choices in PV.
We stayed for one week. The pictures in the listing are accurate and very representative of the place. There is everything you need in the kitchen to cook meals -- we had breakfast in-house every morning, made margs most evenings, and had no problems finding or needing anything to make any meals. There was a full 5-gallon bottle of drinking water in the dispenser on arrival.
The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of linens and extra towels (which we didn't need). I think the maid stopped by once or twice and all we needed was just to hand off dirty towels to her.
The balcony was where we spent most of our time when we were there. It is really nice and has a great view. There was some construction noise from a mammoth building going up, but that construction was smack in the middle of every other place we were looking at staying, and you wouldn't be able to escape the noise regardless of where you stayed in that area of PV. Nights were VERY quiet -- you are far enough away from the clubs that you don't hear the music all night, yet close enough to them that you can stumble home from them very easy.
The neighbors were great, mostly ex-pats living there. One helped us find the quick way to the beach, and another gave us some great local places to hang, and a phone number to have another jug of water delivered (something like $2).
This sits up on the hill almost due east of the Blue Seas Beach Club and is less than a 3-minute walk to the beach there. Of course there are stairs involved, but they aren't that bad. A few more stairs up from the condo is the parking lot adjacent to the highway where you can catch a taxi (within two minutes) or a bus (within 10 minutes). There is an Oxxo (convenience store) a two minute walk down the road that carries all the food basics, and a liquor store across the street from it.
As close as it is to the highway, you don't hear any traffic noise, nor is there any exhaust smell (this was an issue at another, more expensive rental a couple years earlier).
If you are looking for a place to stay that makes it feel like you are living there, this is a great place. From my understanding the owners stay at times throughout the year and the place is outfitted with all the things they have during their stay.
