I was truly impressed when I walked thru the front door. The overall impression was very lovely and comfortable. I was impressed that the cottage was outfitted with our every need. The owners have anticipated our every need from wine glassed to beach chairs. The cottage was very clean, the linens and mattress were first rate. We really liked the parking in our own area next to the front door off-street.
The neighbor had an eclectic charm of history and new. There were every expensive homes next to a small restored cottages and bungalow, among million dollar condos. We were able to walk to everything from the farmers market to restaurants and galleries. WE walked to Marina Jacks harbor resturant for dinner and dancing while watching the sunset. Great spot for live bands and happy hour. There's theaters, galleries boutiques, salons, parks and many other things close enough to walk to. We met several friendly people and felt like we had a more "local"experience. The owners are very kind and attentive. I would recommend to family and friends.

They say when you buy a diamond, you should consider the 3 C's... Same here!
Cute, Clean & Comfortable!
The cottage was very nicely done. The mattress was a Dormia, memory foam, extra thick. I know this brand to be very high-end and expensive. I was surprised to see that kind of bed in a rental. The large HDTV with cable, the wi-fi worked great. There is a private driveway for off street parking a few steps from the front door. The patio out back was charming and private. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There's a washer and drying in the cottage.
The first few days I walked everywhere around downtown. There's so many outdoor restaurants, coffee shops to explore along with shopping and antique stores within a 10 minute walk. I wanted to explore further so I rented a bike at Ryder Bike Shop in the neighborhood so I could ride to the beach and Armand Circle.
I really felt like I was plugged in to the area- more of a local than a visitor. Very nice friendly area.

The owners of this cottage have 4 other cottages in the same area. I have stayed at several of their places downtown and have enjoyed each one. They are all adorable, very nicely furnished, clean and cozy. They are a tremendous value for downtown and they offer free wi-fi, cable, parking, laundry and beach stuff!
I love the location which is very quiet even though I was in the the downtown area. I could walk a few short blocks in any direction for 100's of places to eat ranging from "cheap eats" to highend restaurants. I could walk to several theaters where I saw plays, concerts, symphonies, Opera House and 2 movie theaters. We loved the Burns Court Movie house- an historic movie house that serves wine and beer! It's was only 2 blocks away!!! WE love staying at any of the cottages.
