On the beach in an iconic bay on the South Coast of Barbados, Cotton House Bay, this place is popular with learning and advanced surfers, kite-surfers, paddle boarders, wind-surfers,kayakers, sunbathers snorkelers and is awesome for swimming and turtle spotting. The occasional nap in a lilo is very common.
Nearby fishing village, Oistins, has a well stocked supermarket, a bank, a few restaurants, and many rum shops (the local pub). Oistins is also a hub of activity during the weekend with their 'Oistins Fish Fry' - A large array of booth styled seafood restaurants, open air dining and dancing, and very bad Karaoke.
A few 100 feet away is a sheik restaurant called Cafe Luna, perfect for special occasions, sushi Thursdays are especially popular. A modest golf coarse is a 5 minute drive away, and most of the island's activity are within 15 mins drive.
Take a day to go sailing on a catamaran. They take you to swim with sea turtles, we recommend Cool Runnings and El Tigre.
Another Great tour is the St. Nicholas Abbey rum refinery. One of the oldest in the world.
