This villa has had extensive refurbishment to an extremely high standard with many extra benefits - large open plan fully equipped kitchen, downstairs cloakroom and lobby, lounge dining are leading out onto a terrace and extended decking which has a spa on it with private mooring, both en suite double bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and each have their own private balconies. It also has its own golf buggy which is available to hire, a great asset for getting around the resort. There is an extensive supermarket for self catering. Fantastic facilities all on your doorstep communal pool, 18 hole golf course, casino, tennis, watersports. perfect for a family holiday go to the beautiful south beach with its white powder sands for the watersports or a romantic getaway to relax and enjoy the Caribbean sunsets with a cocktail on the terrace

Antigua has all year round tropical climate with a gentle sea breeze, 365 beaches.Jolly harbour marina is set in lush green surroundings on the west side of Antigua the complex has 24hr security and fantastic facilities communal pool ,beach, tennis courts, 18hole golf course, health centre, casino, sailing,diving and water sports restaurants and bars all around the marina.St john's 15 mins by bus has duty free shopping local hand crafted markets. Helicopter trips to Monsaratt from the marina. Shirley heights a must Sunday afternoon steel bands followed by reggae bands as the sun goes down bbq and rum punch! Nelson dockyard with all the history and English harbour sit having a refreshing drink watching all the boats sail in. Trips to the rain forest and pineapple plantations. Take a boat trip from the marina around the island and go snorkelling at bird island or charter a boat yourself discover all the unspoilt beaches

This is our fourth year staying at Jolly Harbour and would like to say that this is the best villa we have stayed in. Nicely furnished with all mod cons and the owners were particularly helpful. We also had someone on site we could call on if necessary. It is near the golf course which we used most days and there is a nice quiet beach nearby.

A good holiday experience

We were efficiently met at the airport and taken to a sizeable, well appointed villa with everything one could reasonably ask for. There were even some basic food items in the cupboards and fridge (including Pringles and an open bottle of wine), and anyway the resort is self contained with several restaurants and a large supmarket that stays open until at least 8pm.

We visitted in June when the weather is not the best. But when it we found it too hot there was air-conditioning in the villa, and when it was too wet there were hundreds of satellite TV channels and a selection of magazines and paper backs. When it was just perfect (most of the time) there was a lovely beach.

I suggest the hire of a buggy to get around the resort - its quite a way to the shops/restaurants. Alternatively there are bikes for hire (but we didn't investigate). Leave Jolly Harbour to explore the rest of the island by way of bus, taxi or hire car.
