Beautifully done high-end furnished 2BR, 2BA in Old Town w/12ft ceilings, hardwood flrs, chef's kitchen w/brkfst bar, in unit washer/dryer, Wood burning gas fireplace. Multiple decks included, marble master bath w/sep shower and jacuzzi tub, walk-in closets and attached indoor garage space included. Additional unit highlights include built in humidity control, pre-wired for all room internet and cable. High end gourmet kitchen appliances including espresso machine, Kitchen Aid mixer and Keurig coffee maker. The place is fantastic for entertaining with a wide open great room and kitchen bar.

The unit is close to both major airports in the Chicago area - 16 miles to O'Hare and 9 miles to Midway Airport. Within steps of a major shopping center with a Dominicks Grocery Store, UPS, Starbucks and more. 1/2 mile to main historic Old Town Chicago street where wine and art festivals are held every summer.

Plenty of fantastic dining including Adobo Mexican grill and the famous restaurant - Alinea - #6 in the world just 0.5 miles from the front door.

Additional sleeping includes living room couch which can be combined with the two over-sized ottomans for a large queen bed.

Late Summer in Chicago

My wife and I and our small dog stayed at this apartment in August - September 2012. And our son stayed with us for 5 days. We found the apartment just as advertised -- lots of room; an excellent, fully-equipped kitchen; luxury master bath and another full bath. The location was perfect for walks to Lake Michigan, Lincoln Park and Old Town. And only about 25 minutes to walk to the stores and shops on Michigan Avenue. A Starbucks and a Dominicks grocery store were a couple of minutes away. There was garage parking in the building for our car.

The owner, Kristin, was flexible and responsive throughout the rental process and the stay.

If the unit is available, we will definitely stay here again next summer.
