Moved to Vermont in 1963 from Norwalk, CT. Studied anthropology at UVM, three children in San Francisco, Cambridge, MA, and Stratford, CT. I like to garden, walk, and snowshoe. Indoor hbits include reading and writing.
I love nature. This house sits on top of a hill looking at fields in the eastern valley and up at beautiful green mountains that turn every imaginable color in the fall. I only wish I had more time to sit on my front porch, work in my garden, and walk in the woods. For me nature is the true healer and here you are surrounded by it. Check out the Autumn picture I just added and you will see what I mean. The house is not isolated as there are neighbors across the road.
To describe the area in succinct terms the four seasons in this valley are fabulous. The summer offers all sorts of activities including sightseeing, hiking, biking, canoeing, swimming and world class restaurants. The winter offers skiing at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen plus XC skiing are nearby plus snowshoeing right out your door.. The area is simply beautiful. Situated one half hour from Montpelier, the capital of Vermont and one hour from Burlington, a small cosmopolitan city. 2 1/2 hours from Montreal and 3 hours from Boston.
