Photos and Description of the Platanos vacation rental Villa with private pool and the unique sunset of the western point of Crete.

Two stone made villas 150 square meters each built in the foot of Prophete Elias mountain at 'lagou pigadi' place 400 meters from Platanos Village. With a view to the Falasarna Golf ( 4 Km from the Falasarna beach) and the unique sunset of the western point of Crete. Each villa has three levels, on the first level one big living room with kitchen and on the others levels three bedrooms and WC for Visitors. Each bedroom has its own bathroom- WC. Each villa has its own entrance and a private pool about 50 square meters. The villas are built accordingly to match their environment and the local tradition and architecture and they are fully equipped with central heating, air-condition, TV, PC, internet and the house equipment. Quiet but not isolated, a unique proposal for your family or your friends for the summer and for winter. Villa Stella is a beautiful Villa.It is very well decorated and very comfortable and very romantic. The owners are charming and happy to help, if needed, as well as happy to just leave you to it

The villas was well maintained, a cleaner, twice a week.Lots of towels and large TV and a great BBQ and outdoor eating area. The pool was fantastic. Privacy was great, yet open to view the beautiful surrounding scenery and sunsets.

The village is a typical working Greek village, not a tourist one, so charming tavernas and real grocery shops and bakeries galore! A larger town, Kissamos was an easy drive to pick up things you may also want. You need a car here. The village is easy to walk to, but at night, it is quite a dark walk, though with a torch, it was fine.

The nearest beach Falasarna is easily the most beautiful beach on Crete, with a string of tavernas along the way and a few on the beaches. The ancient city of Falasarna is facinating to visit ,and you can then, have a drink at the Blue beach bar and go for a swim afterwards!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The Cretan, as a people, are very warm and generous.Try the raki!
