For a Perfect Week by the Lake

We stayed at this beautiful place for a week with our daughter, her husband, and their one year old. What a perfectly relaxed, quiet time we had! Having shopped the farmers market in Traverse City before arriving, we grilled out every night and enjoyed eating at the picnic table situated within close range of the grill and in full view (and hearing) of Lake Michigan. The sunsets were incredible over the lake and begged to be enjoyed along with a glass of Michigan white wine .The wooded setting afforded shade while still allowing lake views. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortably accommodated all of us - even the baby had his own space: the pack 'n' play was set up in the den. We knew even from the (stunning) approach to this VRBO, that it was a special find! We enjoyed a day outing to Leg's Inn in Cross Village and thought it and Short's Brewery and LuLu's in Bellaire were fun and delicious. Some of us made an easy day trip to Mackinaw City - didn't go to the island, but could have.
