Just renovated, this is a peaceful, quiet home, but located just 5 minutes’ walk from Marble Arch underground station, 3 minutes from Edgware Road Station. The apartment is the perfect base from where you will explore all that London has to offer.

The bed is the most important thing for us and this one was great ! The 'King' here in UK is really a queen but the quality of the mattress was good, we slept well. The shower is also important and this one is very good and hot. There are a few pubs nearby, Larkin has great burgers, and a nice grocery around the block. There are 2 fairly close tube stations, Edgware and Marylebone. Our daughter was at Westminster college and we able to walk to her place in 12-15 minutes. I don't give out stars very readily so three means it was very good. The Nespresso coffee machine was very nice and the kitchen was very serviceable. The clothes dryer takes time to run and the spin cycle makes some noise so avoid starting too late in the evening.

Several Issues---was not a good experience

From the chaotic arrival instructions to the dismissive customer service to the pest control issues (ants in bath and kitchen), missing window lock, and minor maintenance problems, we found this property to not be a good fit for us. We left a day early to stay in a hotel.

For the price, it is fairly tidy, cute and in a somewhat convenient location. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Edgware station, and there is access to other public transport options. Additionally, it is well equipped.

As another reviewer pointed out, do not fully count on doing laundry here.

Overall, if you are willing to compromise certain comforts for affordable rates (which does means a great deal in London), this is possibly a good rental, but not one that we would stay in again.

Comfortable and suitable apartment

We stayed in this apartment for five days during our recent vacations. Anita and Anand were very helpful and made our lodging very satisfactory. The location was great, just two blocks from Edgware Road where there are several markets, bus stops and close to the Edgware Road Station (Underground).
The apartment was properly cleaned and well-equipped; something to highlight was the amenities (coffee, sugar, tea, soup, towels, etc) and facilities provided.
Although everything was according to our expectations, we suggest to provide two more chairs in order to accommodate four people as we were. With only two tabourets it was difficult to have breakfast and dinner seated.
Finally, we recommend to keep cleaned the entrance of the building (stairs) because it was not so well presented.
To sum up, we had a great stay in this property and we enjoyed very much London.

Our First London Experience was Fantastic!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our flat in Marylebone. We were met by anita and she gave us a super introduction to our flat. We felt immediately at home in this cozy space. We were satisfied with all the amenities in the home. Being our first time in London, we appreciated being close to the Edgeware Tube station. We were also able to walk to Paddington station to catch a train to Bath. There were several restaurants close at hand and we enjoyed both the Windsor Castle pub, The Lanark and the Briocole Restaurant which are all within easy access of the flat. We enjoyed being able to purchase our groceries close by and prepare our own meals. This was our first experience staying in a flat and we thoroughly enjoyed it and will do it again.

We found this apartment to be conveniently located during our week stay in London. The Edgware tube station is at most a 3-5 minute walk away and provides easy access to all the typical tourist sites in London. There are several eating establishments within walking distance, along with a supermarket. The convenience of wireless internet within the apartment allowed us to stay connected with our families and friends in the states as well as obtain information of activities in the area. Iphone and Ipad can be charged using current there--only an adapter is needed for the plugs. Other reviews mention the noise in the area. We did not find this to be a problem; however we were there in the fall and slept with our windows closed. The neighborhood is safe. We never felt uncomfortable walking the streets at night.

The apartment amenities are as described. Note: A first-floor apartment is not street level. Access to apartment is via a winding stairway. The flat is very clean and linens were sufficient. Even though it lists as accommodations for 4, we would not recommend it for 4 adults. The sofa in the living area is small and not very comfortable for sleeping. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would be okay. Also, the only seating available is he sofa and two bar stools. The bath is tiny, but adequate for its use. Note: there are no electric plugs in the bathroom. Provided hair dryer must be plugged into kitchen outlet, but cord is long enough to reach bath mirror. Other grooming appliances must be used in bedroom area. The kitchen is sufficiently furnished. We ate breakfast and one midday or evening snack there. The small refrigerator freezer kept necessary items frozen. By American standards, the bed is more like a queen size and is comfortable. There was adequate storage space for luggage and clothing in the bedroom

Anand, the manager, was very helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. He made arrangements for our transportation from the airport and to the Eurostar train station...and accommodated our early arrival. He even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne since we were celebrating our 40th anniversary!

A London Pass with travel is available for purchase prior to arrival. This facilitates your travel in London.

If you are looking for accommodations as described in this listing, then we highly recommend this one be considered. For the price, cleanliness, and convenience, it's a winner.

We found this apartment to be conveniently located during our week stay in London. Obtaining a London Pass with travel is highly recommended for easy travel throughout all of London and the surrounding area.

Other reviews mention the noise in the area. We did not find this to be a problem. We were there in the fall when it was cooler, so we slept with the windows closed. On a positive note, the neighborhood is a safe area. We never felt uncomfortable walking along the streets at night.

Anand, the apartment manager, was very helpful prior to our arrival and once there. West End Stay

This flat was a nice little hideaway at the end of our busy days. It was small but cozy, bathroom space is tight. Sure the windows don't block noise and the upstairs tenant was noisy one night but it was clean, lots of hot water and functional. Don't expect North American noise isolation or spacious bathrooms!

The traffic noise was minimal, very few sirens and there was little noise past 10:00 pm. We felt safe and secure as the flat is on the second floor. Stairs are tight and steep, if you have limited mobility, this may not be the place for you. I didn't see any fans in the unit, might get warm in the summer. Oh, and bring sheets.

Its location to the Edgeware Road tube station is minutes away and once on the Circle Line, you can get anywhere in London within 30-45 minutes. We used the Tube exclusively to get around, its safe, quick and convenient. The Marble Arch entrance to Hyde Park is a 10 minute walk, a beautiful green oasis in the city. There's tons of shopping on Oxford street, 10-15 minute walk.

A 15 minute Circle Line tube ride brings you to 2 fantastic museums: the Natural History and the Science museum. Paddington Train station is also very easily accessed. Get an unlimited travel Oyster card for the tube.

There is a fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant 1 block away, the Briciole. mmm mmm good.

Anand and his team worked with us to settle us in the flat, they were pleasant and truly made an effort to make us feel at home. His personal attention made our visit even better and he was very patient with my countless questions during the booking and after when I was planning my trip.

In summary: an excellent location for a home base to visit London with easy access to the Tube or train stations. I would recommend the flat and look forward to working with Anand on my return trip to London.
