This is a special spot. Steps away from the Royal Oak Golf course, Elk and Beaver lakes and the Commonwealth Place Recreation Centre. It is conveniently located to downtown or local shopping in Broadmead. There are fine dining and casual restaurants as well as local bars minutes away.

The house has separate entrances for the bedrooms.

Garden Suite is 1,000 sf. for one person or a couple.

Creekside Studio is 250 sf. for one additional person.

The Garden Suite... on the lower level has been landscaped in with french doors that open onto the outdoor terrace where you have a fireplace and plunge pool. You always feel the positive energy of the professionally designed gardens and park. The garden suite has over height ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. TV's and WiFi.

The Creekside Studio is a private bedroom with full bath, gas fireplace, bar fridge and TV. A few steps down the side of the house to the garden area. Ideal for one additional person joining your party.

This unique setup allows privacy for a couple in the Garden Suite and one additional person in the Creekside Studio, that allows privacy and enjoyment of entertainment, eating and common areas as they choose. This is an ADULT oriented house.

I've lived in Victoria for decades and this property is a gem with a small footprint it has a warm and welcoming feel. The garden is beautiful any time of year and the interior has the kind of quality that makes you feel pampered.

It's in the details and this property has many of them. From quality gas top stove and hard wired BBQ to the wood burning out door fireplace beside the plunge pool the flow from inside to outside is always inviting. The place is immaculate.

It's unique and it's beautiful. As a collector of oil on canvas the house is filled with original art from SE Asia, Europe and South America. Oversized mirrors and new lighting fixtures complete picture.

Great alternative to downtown hotels.

This is a great home away from home. You do need a car to get around from here but it's a great choice for people who don't have to be downtown. Great garden and the living area has everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the gas fireplace as we had some cool weather.

Perfect getaway from a busy schedule

The location was somewhat of a distance from Royal Roads University, which I was attending during my stay, but it did not concern me. The place was immaculate. I arrived to a very clean, modern, and beautiful basement apartment. My friend and I stayed in the suite and the upstairs bedroom. We enjoyed the serenity of the fountain in the backyard while doing homework at night. We also enjoyed being able to cook any of our meals on the gas range and the barbecue. As well, Lori was very welcoming and pleasant the whole time. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Very nice suite!

Very much enjoyed my 3 and 1/2 week stay at this suite. As stated in suite description a place for one or two only. Found the listing descriptions to be accurate. Beautiful garden and patio area even in the dead of winter. Would be spectacular in spring and summer. The pool is primarily decorative. Unheated and quite small. The suite was nice - lots of art and beautiful mirrors. Very clean and well maintained with weekly housecleaning. Only negative is that upstairs of house is used as an office and you do hear some noise in suite during business hours. Not a lot but some. Other than that have nothing but good to say about this place. Well managed and friendly service. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Victoria.

private retreat with a designer touch

This is the perfect spot for an extended stay in the Victoria area - close to everything but so peacefully elegant. We stayed in the garden suite which opens on to the spectacular patio that is professionally landscaped to make you feel like you are at a private retreat in the woods. The interior rooms are spotlessly clean with a designer touch. The owner is an executive who travels extensively and her superb taste is evident. Lots of extra incidental items to make you feel at home. This is definitely an upscale property well worth the rental fee....can't wait to stay again.

Elegant home surrounded by beauty

I had a wonderful month in this home. It was so warm and comfortable and beautiful that I enjoyed staying inside or in the surrounding gardens much of the time. Located within walking distance to two beautiful lakes and walking trails, it is also next to a golf course and fitness center with Olympic swimming pools.

The kitchen is fully serviced to allow for a intimate dinner. Shopping centers are near by for the purchase of wines and foods. About fifteen minutes from Victoria city center.

I very relaxing home filled with light and art, tastefully furnished. A real retreat.
