Brooklyn Sumpter Homes is a beautiful studio apartment. Located in the 'coolest borough of the city of New York.' It's border by Stuyvesant Heights (known for it's brownstone) and Bushwick (known for it's Colonial homes). The property has all the things you would find in the comfort of your home. It's a beautiful place to use as base to explore New York.

We had an amazing time at the house!! William and Sharlene are soooo nice, we already miss them!! :D Sharlene took us to the supermarket as we arrived, and always gave us advise about where to go and about the weather! haha they are amazing people!! :D the house has everything you need, the beds are great, there is hot water ALL the time, we loved everything! You can find many shops and grocery around, all with good prices, and there are 3 train stations VERY close to the house, takes you 20-30 minutes to get to manhattan! everything was great, I'll totaly stay there again when I go back to NY. :D
Im arrived under the Rain my first visit alone with my husband.Sharlene was waiting for us take us To ctown market,To the train she always very helpful. We Explore nyc those days ill We miss it and miss Sharlene Thanks for everything. hope To see back .
Sharlene and William they are great hostess love the place and owners
I had an excellent stay here while I explored Brooklyn looking for a permanent home. Sharlene and William were both incredibly helpful. They showed me around the area when I first arrived so I knew where the nearest market, subway stop, etc. was. I really enjoyed getting to know them during my short stay. The room itself was excellent. It had everything you need to call it home away from home for awhile. The commute into Manhattan is a little long (around 40-60 minutes into midtown depending on which trains you take), but other than that it is a wonderful place.
We've had a very pleasant stay at this apartment. Located in Brooklyn, but we didn't feel unsafe what so ever. Area was quiet at night, didn't hear any traffic or other people making noises when we went to sleep.
Sharlene was kind enough to walk us to the nearest supermarket where we could buy our groceries. Two different subway lines taking you to Manhattan are within a short walking distance, which is ideal! The apartment itself is fully equipped and the airco in the bedroom was great as well. A little loud for my liking (might be because I am not used to having an airco), but it we let it run before we went to sleep and the room cooled down enough to have a good night's sleep.
Wifi worked very well and if you want to watch TV, there are plenty of channels to choose from!
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a budget accommodation while exploring the Big Apple. If you want to be right in the center of all the action, you get less and pay much more.
We had the opportunity to stay at William and Sharlene's studio in August of 2014. Excellent, economical, safe and clean place to stay. Sharlene was very helpful and walked us to the Metro station for our passes and then later walked us to the local Super Market. If we needed information all we had to do was ask William or Sharlene, very helpful...We enjoyed or stay..
We are just a 4 minute walk to the 'A' train. Which is just a 15 minute ride to Manhattan. A 10 minute ride to downtown Brooklyn where the new 'Brooklyn Nets' stadium. is being built. And where The Atlantic Shopping Mall, B.A.M. (Brooklyn Academy Of Music), Movie theater, Restaurants and much more is located.
