Conveniently located 4 self-catering cottages with private gardens and parking 4 Star Rated Moorcourt Cottages are adjoining each other situated in a private courtyard and offer you the comfort of you own home with relaxing decor, furnishings & central heating 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen in each cottage. We are situated in a country lane with a rural outlook set in a small hamlet only a 5 minutes drive to the local high street of Tean with all the amenities eg store butcher bakery petrol station take-a-way and pubs. A scenic 20 minutes drive will take you to the famous theme park Alton Towers where one day is not enough time to experience the parks facilities. We are so lucky to be providing quality accommodation in the Heart of England the area has so much to offer our guests that we hardly see them during their stay with us. We look forward to seeing you visit us in our lovely self-catering cottages here in Staffordshire where there is so many places to visit

Fieldfare cottage offers four star full central heating accommodation for seven people with seperate lounge containing sofa and arm chairs coffee table TV & DVD a electric woodburning effect fire and quarry tiled flooring exposed brickwork & oak beams very comfy and cosy. Separate well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven & grill microwave fridge with freezer box, table & chairs, plenty of space with open plan staircase & quarry tiled floor. Down stairs bathroom with full white suite, bath with shower overhead, vanity unit with mirror & shaver point tiled flooring. Downstairs bedroom has a single bed & bunk beds TV & DVD wardrobe & draws, and wooden flooring. Upstairs there is a cloakroom with WC & wash hand basin. A spacious double room with king size bed wooden flooring relaxing decor with exposed oak beams, plenty of storage space, TV & DVD, picture window with rural views. A twin bedroom,wooden flooring exposed oak trusses, wardrobe, TV & DVD.

Stoke-on-Trent has many Pottery Museums & shops such as Wedgwood, Spode, Ansley and Royal Doulton. Staffordshire has so many villages and market towns with traditional pubs and restaurants there is so much for families with children to do including waterworld, Conkers, Tamworth Snowdome, Paintballing and quadbiking. There is Motor Sports at Donnington Park and Karting & 4x4 Wheel Driving at Forest Four Wheel Drive and Tank mania plenty of Activities and Leisure facilities for all the family. If you like the water then you dont have to go far there are so many water related activities locally eg Narrowboat hire, Sailing and windsurfing, Fishing Lakes all offering great for disabled visitors. Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit is requested at the time of your booking, £100 for a weeks rental & £60 for a short break the deposit is made by sending a cheque made payable to V Bradshaw at Moorcourt House Leigh Lane Upper Leigh Stoke-on-Trent ST10 4UN. On receipt of your deposit a receipt will be posted to your stating the receipt of your deposit and the balance which will be payable two weeks before your arrival date. If you have to cancel a booking & you have already paid the deposit we will refund half of your payment by cheque, but the cancelation must be eight weeks before your arrival date. Cancellations after the eight weeks will not be refunded, it is reccomended that you take out private holiday insurance which will cover these events. Included in the rental of the accomodation is bed linen, one tiolet roll, electic & central heating. Towels can be supplied & launderd during your stay at a set price of £30.
  • Short breaks are available through out the year and are becoming more and more popular mid-week or weekends, a two night break from fridays to sunday is very popular, cost is from £170. Please call us to find out about our feastive and new year prices.
