Just a short drive from the historic city of Charleston you will find not only a wonderful vacation home but a lovely view. This gorgeous home is located on the tropical resort of whyn. Fairfield is a gated community with all the amenities of resort living.

Enjoy sitting on the large southern front porch in a rocking chair with a cup of coffee. Or you may want to sit on the back porch and watch with amazement as the egrets flock to the lagoon every evening.

The house has been custom built and professionally decorated for your comfort. With four spacious bedrooms a large living and dining area and a gourmet kitchen, this is the perfect house to build some wonderful vacation memories. If your entertaining a large group the house is spacious enough to accommodate this very easily. The house is also equiped with an elevator and is handicap accessible.

The house is child friendly as it is well equipped with games and movies in case of rain. Or you may want to relax by the resort pool as the children play just steps away on the playground or in the game room.

If the beach is what you want a short walk will get you there and it is just beautiful. A bike ride through the resort and down the Edisto Island bike path will show you the best that nature has to offer. And on a pleasant day as is typical of Edisto Island there is more to do than you can imagine with Charleston being an easy 30 minute drive. If you are interested in seafood Edisto has some of the best restaurants in South Carolina. Welcome to the beautiful island of Edisto, I am sure you will enjoy your stay.

Why The Owner chose Edisto Island

Complete rest and relaxing . I feel very secure as it is a gated community.Behind the house is a lagoon where the egrets have a rookery and is facinating to watch. Lots of wildlife such as turtles, aligators,beavers and loads of beautiful birds.

What makes this house unique

Great for bicycles riding, golfing, several pools, kayaking and the best seafood on the East Coast.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $200-$225/nt - $1400-$1575/wk
  • US Dollars
  • 225.00 per night or 1575 per week for for April,May,June,July August and
  • Sept and October. 200.00 per night or 1400.00 per week for off season
  • except for major holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving
  • July 4th etc.There is a 3 night minimum . 100.00 cleaning fee plus
  • 250.00 security deposit which is refunded once the house is checked

A beautiful place to get away from it all!

My family stayed here over the Fourth of July week this year. We had two children and six adults and were very comfortable. The house is very charming - there are Egrets that land in the marsh area behind the house every night by the hundreds, and seeing that alone is worth the stay! I was in the middle of a serious illness during the stay, so the elevator was a very needed and appreciated feature. My family goes on vacation every year together over the Fourth, and this has been the best vacation in recent memory - even with me being sick we all had such a great time. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
