Lovely single story villa in a small hamlet overlooking open fields yet only 2km from the small bastide town Castillionnés. This recently built well equipped 3 bedroom villa with private covered 9 x 4 swimming pool consists of an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen with French doors leading onto the terrace and overlooking the garden and pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size oven, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The master bedroom has twin beds and an en suite shower room with wash basin and toilet. There are two further twin bedded rooms and a family bathroom with bath, wash basin and toilet. The terrace is equipped with table, chairs and barbeque.The pool terrace has sun loungers and children's swings in the garden.

Swimming Pool Cover: The swimming pool cover is lockable for extra security and the safety of young children. It also keeps the pool cleaner and the water warmer. The warmer water is a great advantage for the out of season months of April, May, June and September when the rental prices, ferry crossings and flights are much cheaper.

The gite is in a lovely area. It was very clean and ample big enough for 6 people. The pool was excellent and the cover not only kept the pool clean but kept the heat in. We would, and have recommended this property to friends. Debbie was always willing to help and gave helpful information on what was happening in the surrounding villages. A most enjoyable holiday.

Fantastic location and lovely property. Very clean and all the commodities you need. The pool was great and had the advantage of a cover to keep the heat in. Sitting out on the terrace looking over the fields was ideal whilst having a barbacue and drinking the local wine. Easy reach to many towns and places of interest. One of which was a town called Temple Sur Lot were we visited the nursery founded by Latour Marliac in 1875 for the propagation, cultivation and commercialzation of hardy water lilies. This is were Monet ordered the water lillies. It was these lillies that became the famous painting Les Nympheas. Chateau De Monbazillac where you can visit the chateau taste and buy the wine. Sarlat a lovely town to visit.
The house very recommended.

This cottage far exceeded our expectations and has everything you could wish for in a place to stay! It was very comfortable and clean and was a good base for our first trip to the area as it was near lovely villages and towns and bigger places of interest. It is only a short drive away from Castillones which has local shops and restaurants, and is about 20 mins away from Villa Real which has a much bigger selection of shops, bars, restaurants and a good market. The English lady who looks after the place was lovely and very helpful, which made life a lot easier for us as it was our first trip to france. Want to go back!! Would recommend it to anyone!

Very neat, well maintained holiday property well located to Bergerac and surrounding bastide towns. Although we visited late September the weather was good and we found that the covered swimming pool maintained the heat. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday.

The property met all our expectations. We were in france to buy a house and it was the ideal place to return to each evening.
It is very clean and suitably equipped. There were delightful horses with foals in the adjoining field. It is well situated for all the key surrounding villages.
We\enjoyed our stay very much despite poor weather.
