4 Bed Villa and Private Pool 500m from beach, Thong Nai Pan, children friendly

Villa Vadee is situated 500m from Thong Nai Pan beach. Voted by Tripadvisor as one of the Top 10 beaches in the world. Thong Nai Pan is on the idyllic north coast of Koh Phangan, Thailand.

Our 200 sq metre villa has an open plan downstairs area comprising a large Kitchen, Dining and Living area, this opens to the Sundeck and private Swimming pool with views over the twin coves of Thong Nai Pan Bay. Designed with children in mind, we can provide a fence around the pool and additional safety alarms for pool safety if required.

Upstairs comprises 3 large Bedrooms. 2 Bedrooms come with Ensuite and open to an upper Balcony with fantastic views over the bay. Bedroom 4 is downstairs. All rooms and bedrooms have full air conditioning and ceiling fans.

We have 2 full time villa staff who will be there as much or as little as you require. Our Villa manager lives within 5 minutes of the villa and will organise any activities you require as well as your transfer to and from the villa.

Places to Visit: Temples

There are more than 20 temples around the island and all welcome well behaved visitors. Not only are they great historical and visitor places but they are also at the centre of the Thai community and often have temple fairs with dancing, singing, markets and stalls.

Waterfalls

Phaeng Waterfall. One of the islands grandest waterfalls is a steep 250m walk up a jungle trail, but once there it is quite an impressive fall.

Thaan Sadet Waterfall- (15 min drive from villa) - Thaan Sadet waterfall was first visited by Thai royalty in 1888 when King Rama V left an inscription on a rock which remains today, he revisited the same spot more than 10 times. The present king Bhumibol has also been to this sacred series of falls. It is a fairy tale of hugh granite boulders and multitudes of fresh water pools and can be walked its full lenght of 3 km.

Full Moon Party: The Full Moon is far more than a party; it is Had Rin's dance music festival, with everything from drum and bass to full-on psy-trance. Paradise Bungalows, the site of the original Full Moon Party, consistently puts on the biggest show with inspired decor and a combination of superb resident and guest international DJs. Thong Nai Pan, where Villa Vadee is located up the coast from the full moon party but is easily reached via a long tailed boat. The trip down the coast on one of these boats only takes 20-25 mins and is a great way to get in and sample the fun.

Thong Nai Pan: Thong Nai Pan has been a legendary destination in travellers' circles for over 20 years. Beautiful beaches, towering palm trees and massive granite bolders make the area a nature lover's paradise. Moreover, Thong Nai Pan has an excellent range of accommodation on offer, as well as great bars and restuarants. The beaches have an addictively laid back atmosphere. All of this makes Thong Nai Pan the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Once you've been to the beaches of Thong Nai Pan you want to go back.

The two beaches of Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai are set in a spectacular double bay surrounded by lush forest, on the tropical island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand. Thong Nai Pan is in the north east of the island and is easily accessed via road or boat.

All the essentials are there, restaurants, bars, tourist shops, ATMs, mini market are all there. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat at La Luna restaurant, the décor and the food is excellent.

There are countless activities if you get tired of lying by the pool or on the beach.

Ang Thong National Marine Park is a fascinating archipelago of 42 islands. It is North west of Koh Phangan 50 minutes away.

Scuba diving or diving courses are available which will bring you to the beautiful Chalaklom bay and renowned Sail Rock (Contact H20 diving centre in the village).

Beautiful Villa

We stayed at Villa Vadee over three nights (a group of 6) and had an absolutely fantastic time. We were picked up from the West side of Phangan by Roman and Jaroen and taken to the local markets to stock up on seafood and vegetables. Roman was really patient with the chefs in our group and acted as a personal translator!

The villa itself is beautiful, very spacious, airy and clean. It's in a great spot far enough away that you feel like you have the island to yourself but close enough to the beach and the village when you feel like getting out of the pool.

Nuan was so helpful and made sure the villa was always spotless. She is an amazing cook.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so fantastic, particularly Colm who was constantly in contact with us prior, during and after our stay. We could not have asked for more. Looking forward to returning as soon as we can!!!!

Paradise Villa in Paradise Island

We stayed with my 7 (age 20-24) fellow friends for 6 nights in this beautiful villa in April 2013. The main idea for the trip was to relax,enjoy good food and have a good time. This villa was the right place for us.
The neighborhood was very relaxing. Housekeeper took us to the "centre" of the island when we needed to place to party. Villa was very clean all the time and I can say that the housekeeper did her job very well because we had 5 pretty messy guys there :).
We also rent few motorbikes for us to go look around the island. Traffic that side of the island is much different than anywhere else in Thailand so it was pretty save to use them. We found very nice places with the help of motorbikes including private beach, wonderful sea views, waterfalls etc.
This villa has all the things you can hope for the perfect holiday and I can recommend it to families, friends, in fact for everybody because with the help of the housekeepers and the owner you can do what ever you want. :)

Nous avons passé dix jours merveilleux à la Villa Vadée. L'ile est magnifique et est réstée sauvage. La villa est très confortable avec une vue magnifique. Elle est à la fois isolée ce qui est très agréable mais l'accès au village et à la plage n'est qu'à une dizaine de minutes à pied. La plage et le village de Thong Nai Pan sont nos coup de coeur de l'ile. Le village fourmille de petits restaurants et bars très agréables avec une cuisine délicieuse. Nous avons même pris des cours de yoga dans un des hotels de la plage et nous recommandons le salon de massage Tananporn absolument génial. Le personnel de la villa peut vous préparer des plats Thai délicieux moyennant petite rémunération.
Si vous voulez vous balader dans l'ile 4x4 obligatoire , certaines routes sont vraiment cahotiques mais ça fait aussi partie du charme de l'ile. La propriétaire Marian vous donnera tous les renseignement nécessaires à votre venue. Je ne rêve que d'y retourner

We spent ten wonderful days at Villa Vadee. The island is beautiful and still wild. The villa is very comfortable with a beautiful view. It is both insulated which is very nice, but access to the village and the beach is only a ten minute walk. The beach and the village of Thong Nai Pan are our favorite on the island. The village is full of small restaurants and nice bars with delicious food. We even took yoga classes in one of the beach hotels and we recommend the massage parlor Tananporn absolutely great. The villa staff can prepare delicious Thai dishes through small fee. If you want to walk around the island 4x4 mandatory, some roads are really chaotic but it is also part of the charm of the island. Marian the owner will give you all the information needed for your visit. I dream to return

Family with small children - January 2013

We stayed one week at this wonderful villa on Koh Phangan at the end of January 2013. We were 4 adults, one 2 year old child and 2 babies under 12 months. The house was perfect for us all. A fence was put up around the pool to prevent the kids from falling in.
The villa was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location just 10 minutes walk to the beach was perfect.
Most evenings we ate or had take away from a number of great restaurants in the village (also walking distance). We cooked food for the kids at the house, after having bought supplies from the local Tesco (the housekeeper drove us there the day we arrived on the island).
Roman, the villa manager, was also very helpful and was always available if we needed anything or had any concerns.

I highly recommend this place!

Very nice house in a beautiful island

Our stay in the villa on Thong Nai Pan was very nice and the quiet ambiance of the village pleased us very well. The location is not done for "night life" but if you wish, you can go the island parties (full moon...)
The view from the villa, new and clean, is beautifull.
It is large (for two families with children) and well equiped.
It is ideal to make boat trips and snorkling from the beach. Top!
The staff of the house was always kind and helpful with us.
