Ski:
Skiing is available in the region of Chalet Wildhorn. Hohwald within walking distance caters for children, beginners and adult improved. Children ski games and fun runs from apres ski hut and restaurant. Lessons are also available. The village ski hut rents all equipment and gear. Amisbuhl, within walking distance offers 16 Km cross country trails. A complimentary bus runs to both areas to save walking with gear. The upper ski runs for advanced skiers on the Niederhorn are accessed by cable car from the end of the village.(a 5mn car drive or by regular post bus route) The Vorsass middle station has panoramic sun terrace and traditional restaurant. The summit Niederhorn offers spectacular Eiger/Jungfrau/Lake Thun alpine panorama from sun terrace and restaurant. 6Km Tobbogan run from Niederhorn to village is a breathtaking experience, twice weekly a starlit run by night with Fondue Party on the summit -booking necessary.
