Very nice & airy, fully furnished Studio in downtown Rio de Janeiro with wifi, LCD 32'

cable TV, phone for income calls and limited local calls, Silent air conditioning with remote control, celing fan and brand new appliances. Located in Cinelandia, Downtown Rio de Janeiro, steps from subway station that takes you everywhere ( 15 minutes to Ipanema Beach!), steps from restaurants, opera House, banks, Public Library, movie Theaters, Cultural Centers, Music performance theaters, pharmacies, shopping, and i3 blocks from Lapa the Rio hot spot night with the best music in Rio. The studio has DVD, washer, microwave, frost free refrigerator, one burn stove, electrical rice maker, coffee maker, mini oven, towels & sheets. Double size bed, sofa- bed, computer desk, small dinning table and closet. The building is commercial/ residential and has 4 elevators & 24 hours door man.

About Downtown Rio: Downtown Rio (Centro da Cidade) is where Rio de Janeiro was born, and has until this day, the most beautiful architecture in the city. Some of downtown streets has peculiar names that reflect a time of romanticism and artistic inspiration, such as 'Travessa dos Poetas de Rua' (Lane of the Street Poets) next to the Opera House (Theatro Municipal). Grab some lunch in the beautiful 'Travessa do Comércio' street in 'Praça XV' square, where the legendary Carmen Miranda lived, and that today is surrounded by several restaurants. few steps from there on Saturdays take place the market for the antique stuff.

Don't miss to visit the recently beautifully restored Opera House (Theatro Municipal), that hosts renowned operas, orchestras, ballets and other events year round. You will want to visit also the beautiful Main Libarary ( Biblioteca Nacional),and also the famous 'Saara', an enormous agglomerate of stores and food, where every type of merchandise is sold.

The studio is fully equipped with brand new appliances, has DVD, washer & dryer, microwave, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, mini oven, towels & sheets. Double size bed, sofa, computer desk, small dinning table and closet. The building is residential & commercial,has 4 elevators and 24 hours door man.

Perfect vacation!

The stufio is brand new, super clean, stylish, cozy, and was perfect for my long 2 week vacation. It`s located in the heart of downtown Rio, close to all the cultural landmarks and right in front of the subway station and Municipal Theatre. Around the corner I'd always amaze myself watching musicians get together to play samba in the local bar.

Ipanema beach is a 20 minute ride on the subway train. The studio has everything you can need and is very practical. Washer and hangers to dry your clothes is a plus when you are traveling and don't want to spend tons of money at a dry cleaner, which in Rio is pretty expensive.

I'm really glad I found this studio and would most definitely recommend it everyone who wants to stay in the cultural heart of the city.
