Located on a quiet, tree-lined residential street in the Historic District of Dilworth, 1.5 miles from the central business district (Uptown), you'll be able to walk to 3 parks, two full-service grocery stores, a health-food market, 40+ restaurants (including raw/vegan, Indian, 3 Thai restaurants, Italian, burgers/pizza, sushi, etc.) wine shop, wine bar, yoga and massage studios, coffee shops, art galleries, consignment shops, neighborhood pubs and other amenities.
A transit stop 1/2 block away provides bus service directly to Uptown and SouthPark (upscale shopping) every 15 minutes. The light rail stop to Uptown is only a 15-minute walk away. Carolinas Medical Center is 4 minutes away by car, or an easy 15-20 minute walk.

This super-comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment is in a historic 8-plex apartment building that we own, built in 1920, and was completely remodeled with attention to all the details. High ceilings, refinished original hardwood floors, original 2-panel doors with glass door knobs help the apartment maintain its original character.
We've recently undertaken a complete green renovation on the building, including dual- pane windows, high efficiency heating and cooling, energy efficient lighting, dual-flush toilets, ceiling fans, tankless water heaters and new insulation for comfort.
One great feature is the large private balcony, overlooking the front lawn and tree canopy, which provides a comfortable outdoor living and dining area to take advantage of Charlotte's wonderful climate, whether for breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
There is also a common area with a gas grill and outdoor dining for your use.
In the fully-equipped kitchen there are brand new cabinets, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and refrigerator with ice maker. A full-size washer and dryer are also included in the apartment for your use. There is a desk, wifi, and a small stereo cd player with a place for your Ipod or MP3 player. A large flat screen television in the living room is wifi enabled and streams Netflix and Hulu. There are flatscreen televisions in both bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a King bed with 400-thread count sheets, and a day bed in the second bedroom converts into two twin beds at night. The living room sofa converts into a queen-sized bed, providing combined total accommodations for 6. All bedding and mattresses are new.
The master bedroom has its own private bath with shower, in addition to a large walk-in closet. The apartment has two reserved parking spaces, an outdoor patio with gas grill, recycling facilities and composting. The grounds are well-landscaped with native and drought tolerant plantings. You'll feel safe and secure, with keyed access required for the building entrance and for the apartment.
Most of our guests are repeat clients who book in advance, so please book early. We think we've thought of everything you'll need for your visit, but if not, we live right around the corner so can help with anything you might need.
