The Santa Ana River upper headwaters of the river in the San Bernardino Mountains still retain a free flowing character and outstanding natural values. The upper headwaters, including its sparkling waters, scenic verdant meadows, rich riparian habitat, and thick forests of pine, fir, and oak offer an outdoor recreation mecca for hikers, bicyclists and fishermen. There are several popular trail heads into the adjacent wilderness for hiking. A trail provides access to the fishing holes along the Santa Ana River. Perfect place to reconnect with family and friends in a green and pristine mountain wilderness. Come and surround yourself with the natural beauty and privacy of a wooded landscape.
Give yourself time for writing and hiking, painting and reading and stargazing in this peaceful sanctuary. Sit back and take delight in the breath-taking view from the deck as the sun sets and listen to the soothing sounds of nature. Walk down the trail and enjoy the tranquil rippling water as a trout swims by to see who is visiting. Birdwatchers often spot owls, herons, ducks, woodpeckers, hawks and quail.
