Our vacation beach home rental is in a great convenient location, perfect walking distance to many local area shops and businesses. Within a 2 minute walk you can go to Salty Bay Take Out for the days you don't feel like going anywhere. Also located within a 5 minute walk is the Clambake Restaurant which has wonderful local Maine Seafood and also a variety of other foods. Want to cook your own lobsters, clams, and other seafood? Take a 5 minute walk to Baileys Lobster Pound and bring it back to cook in our fully equipt kitchen! What is there to do for fun for the family? Take a 60 second walk from the house and enjoy 7 miles of Maines most beautiful beaches. Also located only 2 miles away is Old Orchard Beach's Palace Playland Amusment Park, featuring an arcade and plenty of fun rides and activities for all ages. There is also Funtown Splashtown USA and Aquaboggan Water Park located in Saco only 5 miles away. This is fun for all ages, and if your not a kid, it will make you feel like one again. Looking to catch a movie on a rainy day? Well it never rains in Pine Point (just kidding!) There is an IMAX theatre located in Saco only 5 miles away (next to Fun Town Splash Town) Want to get relax and shoot some golf? There are several golf courses around. The following are a few: Golf - Dunegrass Golf Course (4 mi), Nonesuch River (10 mi), Biddeford/Saco Country Club (5 mi). Looking to go shopping? There are great stores and areas to choose from! There is the Maine Mall located in South Portland that is Maines largest shopping mall, which has a lot of the the big name retail stores. If you are looking for locally owned quaint Maine shops, you can visit Portland's Old Port. For outlet stores and to visit LL Bean, you can visit Freeport, Maine only about 30 miles away. You can also visit other outlet stores in Kittery Maine. Looking to go out to eat and experience some of Maines greatest restaurants? There are several restaurants in the Old Orchard / Scarborough area that have the authentic Maine seafood experience. If you are looking for chain restaurants, there are several in the South Portland area next to the Maine Mall. If you are looking for nice local authentic restaurants checkout Portland's Old Port. If you want to experience some of Maine's most breathtaking views, you can visit Fort Williams & Two Light State Park /Cape Elizabeth which is only about a 20 minute drive. If you want to go to Boston for the day, The Amtrak service is only 2 miles away located in Old Orchard Beach.
