Spa & Wellness Centre:
Occupants of the apartment have free access to the new Wellness Centre adjoining, with an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage, bar/restaurant.
The apartment is approximately 150 metres from the main gondola in Rauris. There are around 35km of pistes with long tree lined runs. It is an ideal environment for beginners and intermediates with two excellent English speaking ski schools. There is a plenty of off-piste skiing to cater for the more advanced skiier. A toboggan run offers excitement during the day as well as Monday and Thursday evenings, when it is floodlit. Less than 45 minutes drive away are the more extensive ski areas of Zell am See, Saalbach Hinterglemm, Bad Hofgastein, St Johann im Pongau and the famous Ski Amade. The resort of Kitzbuhel can be reached in under an hour.
Golf: The nearest golf course is in Zell am See, some 20kms away. Other well established golf courses are found in Bad Hofgastein, less than 40 minutes drive away.

There are two supermarkets in Rauris providing all essentials. There are also two banks with ATMs, a post office and tourist information. Shops cater for clothing, outdoor activities, ski and boot hire, and hairdressing. There are also a wide range of restaurants and bars.

Ski:
The beautiful ski area is served by the Rauris Hochalm lifts just 150m away from the apartment. The summit lift takes you to an elevation of 2,175m with magnificent views of the Rauris valley and the Hohe Tauern National Park. It is family friendly and ideally suited for beginners and intermediates with 35km of groomed pistes. The majority of skiing is above 1,650m and even beginners can take the gondola up to 1,800m for their first turns. Intermediates and advanced skiiers can enjoy plentiful off-piste options in fresh powder. The resort is served by two excellent ski schools with English speaking instructors.
Some of the best and largest ski areas in Europe are within a 40 minute drive, including the Hochkonig area, Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein, Bad Gastein, St Johann im Pongau, Zell am See and the Kaprun glacier, which provides skiing 365 days a year.
There are also 45km of cross-country trails which start right outside the apartment.
Other Activities:
Family hikes with more than 180 miles of clearly marked paths, gold panning, bread making and butter-churning.
