Your very own 3,500 sq. foot updated country farmhouse with 3 wood burning fireplaces, set in a park like setting overlooking the Mountains of Southern Vermont.

We are located just 9 miles from Mt. Snow, 15 minutes to Brattleboro ( named by Smithsonian Magazine's 5/12 issue as one of the 20 Best Small Towns in America), minutes away from rte 100 scenic drives and so much more.

The house is furnished tastefully- without stuffiness and with comfort- and is perfect for week long vacations, weekend get aways, writer's retreats, family gatherings, friend's get togethers, small weddings and holiday celebrations. Our home is perfect for 6-10 people in the 4 bedrooms ( 3 double beds and 1 king size bed) .

There is plenty of privacy and space to gather together. With 3 bathrooms and 1 all cedar sauna- there is room to relax or get ready to go out.

Shoot a game of pool..rest on a picnic blanket in the country air...lose yourself in a good book on the screened in porch....enjoy a quiet sunrise out the kitchen windows....step into your cozy bathrobe....drink wine and enjoy the fireplaces or gas stoves....cook...laugh...dim the lights....get a peaceful night's sleep. dream. rest.

About Polli or Kyle

Hi! My husband, Kyle, and I love being in Vermont with our 2 children. We travel alot and really make it a priority to show our kids the world. We would love to share our little corner of the world with you.

Why Polli or Kyle chose Marlboro

Vermont is wonderful each season of the year. The brisk and crisp autumn air combined with stunning views of fall foilage make this time of year a traveller's favorite. Make sure to visit a local farm for apple picking, pumpkins, homemade pie and cider.

Winter brings skiing, sledding, and ice skating fun. Come enjoy having a fire in the firepit and toast marshammallows. Then warm up in the sauna. yum!

Spring shows all the fresh greens that the surrounding hills offer. Big skies. bright stars. nice walks. come and enjoy welcoming the new season.

Summer is time for the Marlboro Music Festival. weddings. Strolling of the Heiffers in Brattleboro. art festivals. swimming. country fairs. river streams. hikes in the mountains. summer at its best!

What makes this farmhouse unique

This home has good bones. lots of history and great spaces. The pool room used to be an old barn which was moved and joined yers earlier and now makes a wonderful cozy room for playing games, playing darts or pool and gathering around the wood stove.

The kitchen has updated appliances and great places for cooking or pouring a drink and cheering on the cook. The dining room and living room are terrific spots to get together.

The house always has a full array of spices, oils, and other cooking necessitites. Plenty of linens and towels and other things that you might have forgotten to pack. It truly feels like a home.

There is a small but upscale market at the bottom of our hill for provisions, beer, wine and deli items. Route 100- one of the most romantic and scenic drives in the NorthEast- is located about 3 miles from our home.

Brattleboro is about 15 minutes away and Wilmington and Mount Snow is about 8-9 miles away. Close enough to get to everything but enough distance to get away for peace and privacy.

Additional information about rental rates

In order to secure the house for a booking, we need a 50% deposit. The other 50% will be required 1 week before check in. A fully refundable $500 security deposit is required as well.
Fees And Taxes Vt. has a 9% State tax which we are responsible to collect.
In addition, we offer a cleaning service ( so that at the end of your stay- you can simply pack up and go, especially good with a large group) if you would like that option for $125. If not, we appreciate you leaving the house cleaned up and tidy with all trash gathered and beds stripped. Thanks.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Excellent vacation and amazing home

We were a group of 10 (5 couples) and we absolutely loved Polli and Kyle's home. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. Everyone had a lot of private space and there was plenty of common area. We cooked meals, played pool, and relaxed. Polli and Kyle were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful vacation weekend and plan to return. The location was perfect for access to Mt. Snow, the town, and hiking trails.

Quintessential Vermont Vacation and Experience!

My family (husband, self and 3 young adult males) spent a very lovely and enjoyable week at this charming Vermont farmhouse. The home was clean, well-maintained, beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed for those who like to cook. I really appreciated that the owners left spices and sundry items for our use. The home is spacious with room for all of us to enjoy it- my husband and I could enjoy reading in the living room and our sons could be enjoying their pool tournament on the other side of the house without disturbing us! We enjoyed some lovely walks and shopping in Wilmington (The Quaigh) and Brattleboro (Vermont Artisans and Sam's). We will definitely visit again.

Perfect Place for a New Years with Friends!

Myself and a few friends had the most wonderful time at this beautiful Vermont getaway. It's removed enough to make you feel like you're in your own special hideaway, but just minutes from a handful of restaurants, and great skiing at Mt. Snow.

It's perfect. A gorgeous, spacious house with all the modern amenities you could possibly need (including a fireplace, pool table and awesome kitchen).

Not to mention, the family is so warm and accommodating and has everything set up and ready to go for your arrival.

Can't recommend it enough. Hope to go back soon!

We had a great weekend at this lovely farmhouse rental. Would highly recommend to families. Kids loved the game room and seeing the barn animals; adults loved the sauna and relaxing atmosphere. What an awesome place!!! Polli and Kyle could not have been more accomodating for our adventure race weekend. House was cozy and charming with all the amenities we needed...we LOVED THE POOL TABLE and gathering around in the kitchen and playing some WII in the huge and comfy living room! Sauna was tremendous after the race and whole house was secluded...total vermont experience...it was our first time there. Again, cannot say enough about Polli and Kyle the owners!!!
