Cottage, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Circa 1899 structure, beautifully renovated!

Originally located on the railroad track, was moved 1 block away in 1906 when the Frisco Railroad Company purchased the property to build its proposed depot. In the 1920's it became the Crystal Barber Shop, remaining so until the 1980's. Barber shop cabinetry has been restored and is in the front room of the rental.

This property is in Crowley's downtown/business district and is located within walking distance of banks, grocery store, drug store, post office, bars and restaurants.

Crowley is located on I-10 2 hours/45 minutes west of New Orleans, LA...3 hours/30 minutes east of Houston, TX...30 minutes west of Lafayette, LA...1 hour east of Lake Charles, LA.

Property is available as a 1 bed room (king) and 1 full bath including den, kitchen, laundry, screened porch and courtyard.

All of the above with 2 bed rooms (king and queen) and 2 full baths, or including additional front room (queen sleeper sofa)

All linens and towels are provided. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry. Wireless Internet provided.

I do not rent to multiple guests at the same time.

Perfect for family gatherings!

We were in town for a family wedding and this cottage allowed us to feel at home immediately. Exquisitely decorated, yet extremely comfortable, we were able to host family and friends over the weekend and enjoy their company. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space and the flow of the rooms allowed our guests to move easily and comfortably. Everything was wonderful!

Ann's Crowley Rice Cottage II is just as outstanding as the Crowley Rice Cottage I. It's location is unique in respect to Crowley Cottage I, however, I love the opportunity to be near the renovated downtown area and the original train depot. The cottage is nestled between a historic office building and the friendly City Bar. We loved this since if we wanted to keep late hours outside in the courtyard, we would not disturb anyone. The cottage is amazing and full of Ann's eclectic taste and wonderful historical charm of south Louisiana! Ann has combined a comfortable home feel without omitting her sense of taste and style, and never forgetting any intricate detail. We will continue to stay here, as well, as continuing to stay at Crowley Rice Cottage I. I grew up near Crowley and no longer have a family home there, so these two locations have become like a home to me when I want to visit Crowley, friends, and family.

What an AMAZING experience!! If you're looking for an exquisite, home away from home feeling which combines the tasteful present with the historic past, then the Crowley Rice Cottage II is THE place to stay!
The photos are beautiful, but pictures can't capture the actual beauty of this place. You have to visit in person to believe it! Ann is one of the most charming, talented ladies you could ever meet - and what a treat to stay at her property! We hope she'll expand her rental property realm because she does it right! Ideal for a friendly get-together, family visit or just a place to get away from it all and tour the charm of south Louisiana, the Rice Cottage II offers what you hope for in a retreat haven. If an historical experience with comfort and good taste is what you seek, then consider yourself fortunate to get to stay here! We only have positive things to say about this place and can't wait to return. The novelty of the barber shop front, the comfortable rooms and baths, the functional kitchen, the amazing porch/patio area - even the tranquil, serene gardens and goldfish fountain make this a little heaven on earth. Awesome find

I just returned from a 4 night stay at this wonderful home. The pictures are good but it is so pretty, Ann has done an amazing job on this home. The house was clean,very well stocked and you can not find a nicer lady than Ann to work with. Ann met us there & even helped us get our things inside. She offered helpful hints as to places to eat & things to see. There are also several pamplets there with info for you to look through.The back porch was one of our favorite places to hang out. the courtyard in the back is beautiful, the fountain & fish pond are very pretty. There is a bar next door,they are very friendly but just know it is a smoking bar. There are so many pluses to this house, the ONLY con to this house is it is close to a train track & you do hear the trains,day & night.The town is so friendly & several GREAT places to eat. You must try Joppe's,the firehouse cafe,our favorite is D.I.'s, a little farther away but so worth the drive. We got to enjoy some of the Mardi Gra's celebrations in different parrish's which was really fun. I would go back & rent this place again in a second. Thank you Ann so much for your wonderful hospitality,my stay there was just what I needed
