The ground floor is tastefully furnished and has a double sofa bed, free Wi-Fi internet access, flat screen television with satellite channels, DVD player and DVDs, mini stereo system. A telephone line for receiving your calls.
The kitchen, divided by a bar, has a ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and all the cookware for six persons.
At the entrance, a toilet and a hall opens to a covered terrace continued by a deck with barbecue and a garden with direct access to the pool.
On the second floor a toilet and two bedrooms with their bathrooms, the bedroom next to the garden enjoys a covered terrace.
It has capacity for 6 persons, this house is fully air-conditioned and equipped with linen, iron and an ironing board, hair-dryer and towel warmer. A baby cot may be included. Private parking in front of the house.

We are a family of 3, frequent visitors of St. Martin during the winter. We like to go around a lot by car, but prefer to have a place within walking distance of the beach.
Henri's place proved to be confortable and cosy and was up to our expectations.
Henri was a friendly but nonintrusive host, and we would recommend this place to anyone not seeking luxury but a nice place from which to explore the island. Great value for money.
Here to tell you, his description doesn't begin to do justice to this wonderful place to stay in the middle of paradise ! I give this place and this owner my highest recommendation. We are already planning our return trip.
First, you are dealing directly with the owner rather than an agent, and he gives his full attention to the upkeep of the place and the well-being of the guests.
He communicates well, and answered all our questions ahead of time. He has no other commitments than to our arrival. The place is situated in a pseudo-gated development, in any case; the entire community is interested in everyone getting along and enjoying their time there.
The property is a town home, one of eight in this block. With another block adjacent, they share the large pool -- much larger than it appears in the photos, and it is even lighted at night. The local atmosphere is clearly one for families, with a number of well-mannered children in the local area.
The place is located at the best beach in all of St Martin -- Orient Bay -- a block away. Although it is located on the Atlantic side -- untenable for most Caribbean islands, this large bay is sheltered by extended points of land at each end and a couple of islets across the mouth. A sure sign of the protection is the number of yachts moored in the lee of the islets.
The beach is reasonably wide all along it's length, allowing room for numerous food and drink stands at the tree line, beach chairs and umbrellas in the middle, and gently-sloping surf zone where people walk and/or swim. There are water sports available -- jet skis, rides, para-sailing. And of course, this is an extension of Europe, and women and men are equally free to bare themselves equally.
The food is wonderful -- there are numerous places to eat and drink, and even purchase groceries -- from snacks to up-scale dining. And just down the road are two larger grocery stores, and a bit farther is the town of Grand Case with one main boulevard and door-to-door restaurants -- several with recognized ratings.
The place is clean inside, with modern appliances -- all the amenities he lists are there and serviceable. There is a/c through out -- quiet enough to be able to sleep. We suggest leaving all shoes by the door and laying a towel to keep from tracking sand throughout. Five stars!
This was our first time visiting St. Martin. It was just my wife and I so we didn't need two bedrooms but the owner gave us a competitive rate so we stayed in this house. It is nicely furnished and just steps to the pool.
It is located just a short walk (approx. 3 minutes) to the beach, near Bikini Beach Restaurant and chairs. A little shorter walk to the Orient Village restaurants, with 5 or so to choose from. Other small shops and small grocery stores are in the area.
The owner met us at the house, gave us a tour, offered suggestions, etc. We needed a transformer for 120 volts and he brought one to us. He is a very nice guy and we have no complaints whatsoever.

Un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel, la plage magnifique à 3 minutes, la piscine qui a fait le bonheur de 3 fillettes montréalaises et la terrasse et les restos et commerces à proximité que nous, les parents avons particulièrement apprécié. Annabelle, c'est certain qu'on va se revoir. La Baie Orientale est un petit paradis et ton appartement a contribué à rendre notre séjour tout simplement merveilleux!!!!

We really enjoyed the house. It was very clean when we arrived and is well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom was big enough for two people. The shower was very nice and all of the plumbing worked well. The kitchen had enough pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and storage bowls for everything we needed. The appliances worked well and the washing machine was very nice to have and worked well.
The house is close enough to the beach that you can walk. There were beach chairs and umbrellas available to use. Orient Village with many very good restaurants is also close enough to walk to. We would get up every morning and walk down to the bakery for pastries.
The pool is also very nice. We would spend an hour there every afternoon relaxing before dinner.
I would definitely recommend this rental.

Less than 200 m from the prettiest island beach, the 3 km white sand beach has everything organised for tourists to enjoy: bars, restaurants, souvenir and clothes shops, aquatic sports (kickboards, kite flying, jet, parachuting, banana boats etc).
Services offered in the village square: car hire, bakery, mini market, and a wealth of restaurants. The supermarket is 1 km away.
