Villa for 9 on the Tuscan Hillswith Pool and Spectacular View

The location is in the true heart of Tuscany high above Monteccatini. We had rented an eight passenger van self drive from the Rome airport and toured driving up the coast road to Pisa and thence to the villa. As a group of four married couples the size of the accomodations and the three baths made for easy living. For four of our seven nights we cooked dinners for ourselves in villa kitchen, utilising the treasures we purchased at local farms and groceries. We did breakfasts each day from this well founded kitchen before setting out on our tours. The ability to either use the van or travel by local train from Monteccatini central was highly useful. We drove and toured several hill towns, including Lucca and also the Cinque Terre. Florence too was an easy train ride for a full day of exploration. We did manage to take two days of rest at the Villa using the excellent pool, enjoying the views reading and relaxing. The laundry was highly used by all as it allowed us to get our clothes from the twelve day cruise we came from totally washed.
As a central location this lovely place worked exceptionally well for our group and we were able to drop north-bounds to head to Venice, Vienna and west-bounds to Marseille. While the rest of us headed south by the van to Fiumicino via Orviato and the next days flights to the USA.
We heartilly recommend this fine and very functional Villa for it's ambiance, it's views and the total charm of Tuscany. For grins all of us were seniors...
