Set in a courtyard within a 48 acre farm and equestrian centre. Plenty of parking. Plenty of fresh air.

Cwmcrwth Farm is set in idyllic countryside close to Llandeilo and Carmarthen. It is in easy reach of beaches of Pembrey, Pendine, Tenby, Newquay and Cardigan Bay. Local tourist attractions include Dinefwr Park and Gelli Aur Country Park not to mention mountain biking, horse riding and walking in the Brechfa forest. For the botanists both Aberglasney and The Botanic Gardens are within 7 miles and castles pop up around most corners. The market towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery offer farmers markets and small boutiques whilst Carmarthen just 10 miles away offers an indoor food market and the usual major retailers. The Brecons and Black Mountains are close by for the energetic walkers and cavers. The area is full of surprises.

Bring your own Horse on holiday: We have plenty of stables and fresh grass for your horse to enjoy, so why not bring him or her with you. Self livery. Free use of our indoor arena. Plenty of parking for horse boxes. We can arrange hay, straw and food to make things easier. Horses from £40 per week. You can enjoy trekking in the Brechfa forest and a canter on the beach!

The Farm: Our farm is home to Toffee the Welsh pony and Oxford Sandy and Black rare breed pigs and plenty of piglets throughout the year. We also have 4 highland cattle called Morag, Poppy, Agnes and Bonnie who love visitors. You are welcome to visit all the animals and help feed them. We also supply pork and sausages from our outdoor free range rare breed pigs so complete the experience!

The House

We stayed in the main house and as there were only two of us we had plenty of space. Adequately furnished but the bathrooms would be a bit of a challenge if you were tall!! Very convenient for both Gower and Pembrokeshire peninsulas and lots to do locally although there is no pub, restaurant or shop nearby. NIce and rural and the piglets were very sweet.
Both the Halfway Inn on the way to Carmathen and The Plough on the Llandeilo - Landovery road are convenient and worth visiting for an evening meal. An enjoyable stay.

The cottage was finished to a really high standard and was excellently equipped. The property was clean, with nice extra touches for you on arrival

The location was truly getaway from it all. My children really liked this place! There were so many animals you could go and visit whenever you like including the piglets and Digger the dog.

The area has good access to all the attractions and you will not run out of things to do and visit.

This is a lovely holiday cottage. It is away from it all but also easy to get out site seeing. The cottages are lovely. Well decorated and well equiped, everything that you need. We were very comforable. This cottage is located on a farm with various farm animals. There were quite a few cats which my little girl enjoyed playing with. I would recommend to the owner to indicate in that advertisement that there are cats at this cottage as like my husband and I are allergic to cats hairs luckily the cats did not affect us too badly. Overall a lovely holiday.
Owner's Response: There are 3 cats on the farm which live in the farmhouse and "work" around the farm . They do not go into the cottages (unless of course a holiday maker lets them in). We do advertise the cottages as being pet friendly and are happy to welcome visitors' dogs and horses. We have some rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs and piglets, a welsh pony and 2 young highland cattle (Poppy and Agnes) which are a huge hit with our younger guests.
