This 4200 square foot home has four levels, seven bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 22 yet the well designed floor plan never feels crowded. Solid, high quality construction and attention to detail are the hallmarks of this tastefully decorated upscale home. Beautiful hardwood and ceramic tile floors with beach glass medallions run throughout the house. With an elevator servicing every floor, spacious doorways and wide halls for ease of wheelchair use, this home is a blend of Hatteras and Cape Cod styles that is warm and inviting to all ages. Nestled in the dunes, the focus is always on the sea and at every turn you will be delighted with another magnificent ocean view. The many large patio doors and an amazing 1500 square feet of splinter free Trex decking beckon you outside where the ocean’s magic seems to whisper and hush.

On the ground floor you will find two enclosed garages and an air conditioned/heated game room where you can gather for a great games night. A full sized refrigerator on this level can hold your beverages or provide extra food storage for large groups. Settle around the pub table and watch sports on the flat screen TV, or cheer on the participants at the pool table. Cabinets full of board games, a regulation size ping pong table and a foosball table complete the indoor play area. Step out the back door to enjoy the heated pool with lounge, or practice your putt on the mini golf green. A poolside party area with Trex decking, chaise lounges, a dining table and chairs plus hammock swings ensure you can spend every minute enjoying the pool and beautiful weather. The extra large gas grill is conveniently located nearby. There is also a large hot and cold enclosed shower to rinse off the day’s beach activities before discovering what other luxuries Moondance has to offer.

The spacious main floor is the sunlit comfortable living area loaded with upscale amenities. The extremely well stocked kitchen is graced with granite countertops, a large refrigerator with ice and filtered, chilled water, another free standing ice maker, 2 dishwashers, a spectacular bar sink, a wine fridge and lots of cookware, bake ware and utensils, even a Belgian waffle maker! A huge kitchen island with plenty of extra seating for the cooks’ helpers makes meal preparation a breeze. The oceanfront dining room features a large, custom dining table that easily seats 12, while the sunroom boasts a game table that seats 4 and a comfortable cocktail area overlooking the beach and pool. Through the double French doors is the den that can serve as your office with a desk/work area, printer and fax machine, or as the 7th bedroom with 2 twin daybeds and a flat screen TV. Just down the hall there’s a king bedroom with private bath. On the old fashioned front porch you’ll find rocking chairs where you can sit and watch the sun set or the boats cruising the Inter Coastal Waterway. Step out back to the extra large deck which offers you a choice of sun or shade during the day, dining seating for 12, and an 8 person hot tub to watch the moonlight dance among the breakers at night. At one end is a luxuriously upholstered daybed that is a terrific place for an afternoon nap yet it easily converts into a inviting conversation nook or a great place to wirelessly surf the web while listening to the real surf rolling ashore just beyond the waving sea oats. From this main deck a stairway down one side gives direct access to the private pool while a private walkway from the other side leads to the beach just steps away. With the beach so close, getting there is never a chore; its easy to nip back for a snack or another icy beverage. The walkway even has a seating area ideally placed to survey the beach, catch the sunset, keep an eye on the pool or watch the dolphins frolicking just off shore. After a day of sun and surf, curl up in the great room on the large sofa with chaise lounge and relax by the gas fireplace or select a movie from the DVD library to enjoy on the extra large 60” flat screen HDTV. Pop in a Bluray, or hook up your IPOD or mobile device to the whole house stereo system and fill every floor with your favorite music.

The third floor consists of 4 bedrooms all with private baths. There is a flat screen LCD TV, alarm clock, DVD player and a telephone in every room. Two of the bedrooms are oceanfront kings; one features a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, the other a romantic canopy bed. Both have access to a spacious oceanfront deck with lots of high quality deck furniture and a comfortable porch swing. The sound side features a family bedroom with queen bed and twin daybed and a bunk room with pyramid and twin bunks. The washer/dryer is also on this level.

The entire top floor is a fantabulous private master retreat. There is a wet bar complete with a sink, mini refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave. There is also a large flat screen LCD television with DVD and separate volume control for the whole house audio. Through the arched doorway is a separate sitting area where you will find a glass writing desk, a queen sofa sleeper and a comfortable chaise lounge where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The magnificently tiled bathroom has a Jacuzzi spa tub with separate 2 person shower and double glass bowl sinks. You also have your choice of private decks; ocean side for relaxing in the sun during the day, sound side to enjoy an evening cocktail and the incredible sunsets. But the jewel in this luxurious crown is the spectacular view from the upholstered, oceanfront, king bed; go to sleep with the moonlight dancing on the waves, wake up to the dolphins playing in the surf. Whenever you're here, you'll agree; it's a marvelous time for a Moondance!
