The Bedrooms: There are five bedrooms - situated on 3 levels in this home.
The Master is on the main/entry level and features a Frank Lloyd Wright designed king bed with a 'Heavenly Bed' matress and box spring. A beautiful LL Bean comforter graces the bed that is flanked by Stickly quarter-sawn oak nightstands and wonderful dragonfly lamps. Connects to a large master bath, with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, granite counters, his/her sinks, private watercloset area and large walk-in closet.
Upstairs is a King BR and a Double Full BR that has a vaulted ceiling. A nice bathroom is shared by the bathrooms on this level that has two sinks, granite tops and a seperate shower/watercloset room to allow more people to be getting ready in the morning at once. The Main Spaces: The house features two large living areas to allow entertainment of a large group.
On the main level is the great room, kitchen, dining room and library. Vaulted wood/timber ceilings and a stone/gas fireplace grace the great room. The kitchen is large, spacious and a joy to cook in with a gas stove and immediate access to a gas grille on the deck. A large pantry can hold your supplies and their is a chest freezer in the garage for your use. Store your wine and beer in the island fridge and take and congregate on the bar stools while the meals are prepared.

Downstairs is a very large family room with a second stone/gas fireplace, a built-in flat screen LCD TV, a 9' antique billiards table and plenty of seating. A selection of games is available as well.
Two cars can park in the garage and spaces for at least 3-4 more vehicles on the drive. There are coolers in the garage you can borrow for a day trip.
Wildlife Abounds!!! Dog Friendly Home: Part of the fun of getting a little off the beaten path is the abundance of wildlife that frequents our property. Deer are plentiful, and just over the last winter we had several dozen moose sitings. It's not uncommon for them to be on the driveway or in the back yard - we've even had moose come right up and look in our windows downstairs! You and especially your kids will always remember it if you see a moose up close!! They are something to see.
We have a bird feeder and blue-bird house in view just off the back lawn for you bird watchers!
We own two black labradors ourselves - so our house is dog-friendly. Let us know what kind of pets you have and with a reasonable pet deposit, and understanding of the pet rules in our house (that apply to our dogs too) we will welcome your doggies along with your visit. More information will be provided in the welcome package we will e-mail you upon making your reservation.
The driveway is plowed after each snow over a few inches.
This beautiful mountain home is on 10 acres just 5 miles from the I-80/Kimball Junction/Park City exit. Three ski resorts are within a few minutes drive from Kimball Junction - Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort and the closest is the Canyons. The sweeping panaramic view from the house views all three ski mountains and you can see 40 to 50 miles down the Heber Valley. Redstone and Newpark districts at the Kimball Junction feature a multitude of fine dining and family restaurants including sushi, pizza, a brew-pub and more! Several banks/ATM's are there along with gasoline, grocery shopping (Whole Foods and Smiths), liquor store, Walmart, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and many other shopping options. It's very convenient to stop and pick up supplies on your way to our home from the airport. Just a mile south on US Highway 224 (on the way to Park City) is the Olympic Ski Park where parts of the 2002 Winter Olympics were held. The ski jumps and luge/bobsled runs are located there and open to the public for tours. Go one mile west on the south frontage road to the Factory Outlet store district with great shopping at great savings! Golf is abundant and near-by with Public Courses within 15 minutes from the house. Tons to do at your fingertips!!
