We have updated this house from the inside to the outside. Some of the major upgrades that we have made are all new anderson windows and
Pella bay window, all new siding, shutters and gutters, along with a new front entry door and side garage door. A whole new granite counter topped, stainless steel applianced and gas range cooking kitchen. Also, all new flooring throughout the whole home which consists of pine wood floors, dark stained scraped laminate and vinyl flooring. New paint, trim, beds and interior doors throughout. All baths have been upgraded or made with new fixtures. Almost all furniture in the home is new and if not new it has been professionally cleaned for reuse or purpose. The house has also had an electrical upgrade to bring it up to date. Home has electric base board heat along with propane stoves in two different areas of the home. A/c window units will be installed in windows in warmer weather.
I haven't even mentioned the 4500sq. Foot fenced in yard that we have created for the safety of your family, friends and pets.
Along with the 16x 32 propane heated salt water system pool(heated to 78-80 degrees), which has its own fenced in area separate from the other outside areas but still close and enjoyable off the main deck area. Deck has replaced and there is patio furniture and a brand new weber grill to help enjoy those nice weather days.
Back inside you will find 3 bedrooms upstairs all with queen beds in them, these bedrooms can share 1 of the full baths in the house. The bath up stairs is a full bath - shower/tub combo with 48' single vanity. Two of the bedrooms upstairs have 32' flat screen tv's in them. Go down to main level and you will find 1 bedroom with a queen bed and washer / dryer in room also. Just outside this main level bedroom you'll find the powder room just off the living room with flat screen that has a sliding door to access the rear deck of the house. Your full stocked kitchen, dining room and another living area with flat screen tv is also on this level of the home. The kitchen also has a sliding door that leads to a screened in porch area. The outdoor porch is the only entrance to the fenced in yard from the house. There are other entrances into the fenced in yard that can be accessed when your outside.
Down on the lowest level of the home ( Which has stairwell that is open to mainlevel- NO door) you will find 1 full bed and 1 full pullout sleeper sofa plus the other full bath in the home which has a walk-in shower and 30' single vanity. Lowest level also has a flat screen tv. Lower level is an open area no door to close off for privacy. House has room to be together and room to have some little privacy if needed.

We are the Kuhenbeaker's. The two of us were born and raised here in the pocono's and we met in high school in 1995 and have been together ever since. Married almost 8 years now, we have a family of our own and are raising our two small daughters here in the Poconos.
This house is our 2nd property on homeaway.
We have been renting out our 1st property since 2006, it has given us much pleasure and confidence in its success to be able to start another vacation rental home. We hope for as much success in this new home and continued success at our 1st.

This rental was the house my husband grew up in. My lovely in-laws have recently moved and we all decided to hold onto the house since it had so much meaning for all us, especially for my husband who was raised to young adulthood here and for my in-laws who have spent more than 30 some years of there life at this home. So since january 2012 we have been updating and improving the home to make it a more comfortable, clean and a nice place to stay. We hope that you enjoy the house and find our improvements enjoyable and relaxing when you take the time to get away for awhile.
Over the decades this house has been well taken care of and well landscaped. It sits at the top of a hill on 1 acre of land in a small neighborhood, its well positioned for privacy some views remain at different times of the year and despite the growth of trees through the years but the pool and back deck make it very enjoyable in the nice weather. Not to mention the fenced in yard is easily access from the home and gives you good peace of mind while your loved ones play. We have been learning from our experiences and feedback from our other rental property and from our own experiences being away at vacation rentals. To hopefully know what type of place our renters or ourselves would like to stay at. We have tried to put these ideas and experiences into our work here at this home. Here in the poconos there is something for everyone. If your into doing something outside the poconos has a variety of places to go and enjoy what mother nature has created for us, from taking a leisure drive to see the lands and fall foliage, to taking a trip down the delaware river on canoe to see the beauty in our area, to hiking the wonderful trails and mountains that is another offering that the poconos is famous for, along with its attraction areas to ski, horseback ride, boat, fish, golf and other outdoors enjoyments and sports. If your looking to relax and take it easy, you can sure do that here as well. Maybe a day of shopping at the american candle factory, local craft stores or weekend flea market or speciality shops on main street, also the crossing outlets in tannersville. Rather enjoy some dining and wine there are wineries and many different dining experiences available within a short drive. If you enjoy shows and entertainment then maybe you would like to give mount airy casino a try or pick a flick at regal cinema or stroud mall. Throughout the year the area as festivals like the annual west end agricultural fair in end of august or the garlic festival in beginning of september or brautfest at shawnee in july or timber festival in october. The poconos is a nice place to spend time away and just take in some new scenery and new experiences.
