We loved this property. We were looking for a nice place to have Thanksgiving diner with our children while visiting Chicago. The apartment was so clean, spacious, comfortable, and warm. We actually stopped and purchased kitchen utensils because we assumed there would not be things we needed. However, we were surprised to find that everything we needed was there (pots, can opener, cork screw, serving bowls, dishes, tea kettle, and much more). The location was wonderful. Lots of great shops, restaurants, and plenty of free parking day and night. One block from the train that takes you directly to downtown. We were so comfortable during our stay, great wifi, cable and it was needed for all those football games, and the beds and bedrooms were also very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in Chicago, not pay for parking, be close enough to downtown to get there in 20 mins, and who wants all the comforts of being at home.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for staying at Leavitt and taking the time to share your lodging experience with others! I'm really delighted you enjoyed your trip to Chicago and found the apartment to meet all your needs. Sincerely, Carl
We were delighted to find this apartment for the time that we were visiting our son and his family -- welcoming our third granddaughter born the day we arrived. The apartment was only a short walk from their condo. My husband went out every morning for coffee at Starbucks and The Grind, which are literally around the block. The living room is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Although we did not cook while there, the kitchen had everything that one would need. Carl has thought of EVERY detail and is such a welcoming host. He worked with our arrival schedule and emailed us during the stay to see if we needed anything. We will be staying again in future visits and would highly recommend this charming apartment to anyone.

Owner's Response: Great guests! Delighted they stayed and happy everything met their needs. Thank you for the review. Sincerely, Carl
We spent 5 days at Carl's rental apartment in Lincoln Square while visiting my parents who live in Albany Park. The rental was steller - exactly as described, spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The location is perfect, great for walking around and enjoying what the immediate neighborhood has to offer, and super close to the El to get anywhere else in the city. I highly recommend this unit or any others Carl has to offer. He is wonderful to deal with and made the whole process easy and non stressful. My only complaint is that I did not have a longer time to stay in Chicago! Lynn Marks

Owner's Response: Such a great family...so glad they enjoyed...delight to work with via emails...and so clean! Thanks so much for staying! Carl
This is a lovely two bedroom condo with everything you need while you visit this charming city. Carl was a wonderful host and was able to accommodate all our requests which made our stay just that much better. It looks exactly as it appears in the listing so there was no disappointments. It was very clean and well maintained. Carl was able to meet us when we arrived early and was able to keep our baggage till we went to our late flight. The only downside is that it is a bit out of the site seeing area but that again can be a plus as the area is very pretty and a place that you could enjoy living in. Thanks for making this an awesome holiday for our family.

Owner's Response: This was a great family that really took in all of the city! I'm delighted they stayed and enjoyed the apartment and found Lincoln Square to be the gem that it is. Thank you for the 5 Star review! I really appreciate your feedback. Sincerely, Carl
Lincoln Square is a lovely city-within-a-city, rich in culture, restaurants, bars, shops and activities. The neighborhood's heritage speaks of its Old World roots. Encircling the area is the Old Town School of Folk Music famous for music instruction and live performances, a library, a 15 acre park, movie theaters, coffee houses, the city's oldest bowling lanes, fitness clubs, unique shops, day spas, specialty grocers and more! Walk 2 blocks to the train and ride it to all of Chicago's exciting attractions. Lake Michigan's beaches, harbors and parks are a mile and a half away.
