We are life long residents of the Florida Keys. We love raising our family and working in the keys. We hope you enjoy our vacation home as much as we do.
J.W. Parks purchased this house in 2007
Home was great. Good location to all restaurants and shopping, etc. OK access to Atlantic and Bay. Owner was GREAT to work with, especially with last minute rental. Entire complex is beautiful.
We love this property! Clean, quiet, great views of the water.
Amazing! Everything you could wish for and more in a holiday home. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt right at home. We'd stopped for provisions at the Publix on Key Largo before arrival and were just in time to enjoy a beer on the beach as the sun went down. We relaxed on our back porch and listened to the cicadas whilst breathing in the balmy air. What a set up for the rest of our time in Islamorada! The pool was lovely, never too crowded, and the other residents were very friendly. There was plenty to do, out on the Ocean if the fancy took you, or not, if you just wanted to relax in the idyllic surroundings. There isn't a great deal within walking distance and you definitely need a car to explore the Keys, but after spending 4 weeks travelling down the East Coast trailing our backpacks behind us, this was just what we needed! The only negative thing about the place was that we only booked it for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We were gutted to have to leave and would definitely book again in future.
We had a lovely time during out stay here. There were six of us (4 adults and 2 children) and we all had plenty of room. The gated community is very well-kept and walking around the grounds was a nice treat after dinner each night. My daughters loved the pool – clean and well-maintained. It never felt crowded since we often had it to ourselves. The condo was also very clean and homey. We felt very comfortable from the second we arrived. We bought groceries and it was nice to be able to enjoy meals there so we didn’t have to go out to eat for every meal. I am a runner, and I felt comfortable running around the area. Islamorada is building a running/bike path which was still partially under construction but I know I’ll enjoy it when we return. Overall we had a great experience and I can promise we’ll return!
We had a great time during our stay. If you're looking to party all night, Key West is probably a better location, as everything closes at 8pm in Islamorada. As others have said, items at the house are limited, but we didn't want to cook anyway. The property and neighborhood are well kept. We went fishing with Capt. Brian McCadie out of Robbie's Marina and had a great time. We tried several of the local restaurants like Lorelai, Islamorada Fish Company, and even Ms G's Ice Cream. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Florida Keys.
Came on memorial weekend. I was so excited to come here for the week. When we got here. I was so amazed. We have four people and a baby. As soon as we pulled up I knew this was going to be nice. Wood floors. Granite. Ss appliances. Just like home. We ate most of our meals here. Although try ziggys and mad dogs. Pool area is awesome overlooking the channel and the boats. You feel special pulling up to this complex. We rented a boat for a few days. Just ask jw for a dock. They are privately owned. A short boat ride away is a sandbar. A few miles offshore we caught dolphin for the grill. Who cares about the little noise in the back. It's a back yard on a road. Sit on the front porches if your looking for quiet. We brought all our own supplies. If we didn't have it we went to Winn Dixie 6 mile up the road. It is better than any local hotel you can find. I spoke to jw a few time leading up to the trip and he had all the info we needed. Can't wait to do it again. Thanks jw
