Hi, My name is Doreen. I am a young 51 yr old. I use to do property developing and interior designing. Although I am quite a shy person, I love socialising and regarly go out for a social drink or dancing. I have 2 grown up children who are doing well for themselves. I live with my partner and have a very happy relationship. He is a jolly person and is liked whereever he goes.
Doreen purchased this studio in 2010
I had no idea that I would end up doing holiday letting which I enjoy immensely. It started with a friend of my other half who was celebrating a big birthday. He had a lot of relatives coming over from abroad for the party. He know we had a huge place with plenty of extra rooms with ensuites and kitchenettes etc. We where happy to have his relative stay for a small fee. My partner and I enjoyed it sooo much that we decided to do it as a business. The rest is history.
The benefit of this business is meeting so many different kind of people from all over the world. I enjoy making sure that they are comfortable and happy with their stay. I get great satisfaction receiving compliments on the apartment and the fact that the guest like me as a person. Always looking forward to meeting my new guest. Overall I couldnt have picked a better business.
Suggest getting a taxi from Tooting Broadway for first arrival; after that it is easy to go back and forth by bus. Delightful hosts and apartment has all the little extras...ie kleenex tissues, paper towels, soap, etc...that you have to provide for yourself most of the time. Easy to pick up groceries within the block. Quiet and very clean. Very good wifi connection.
My daughter and I spent a week in this wonderful flat and were sad to leave our home away from home. We found the main room well appointed with everything you could possibly need. There are two small grocery stores within a stone’s throw of the front door, so we often made use of the in room kitchen. A few doors down there is a diner that we enjoyed on a number of mornings. I thought I'd mention a couple of things I didn't realize from the pictures. The mirrors you see are huge closets; absolutely fantastic for storing all of our luggage, souvenirs and keeping tidy. The other surprise was the large wall of windows. It was not the iconic London skyline, but we really enjoyed opening the blinds and taking in the view all the same. The neighborhood is far from the tourist crowd but all the sights are still very convenient by bus or tube. The TFL site was very handy for estimating what option to take from our location. To avoid the rush hour crowds, we often left early in the morning and returned late. Being two women out alone, I never felt the least bit unsafe at any time of day. Finally, Doreen is definitely in the right business. She was incredibly accommodating and hospitable throughout our stay and I would stay again if ever I have the chance.
Good location, depending what you want to do in London.Luxury studio with a great and kindly host,Doreen .What you see on screen, you can see in reality with BIG surprises.
I arrived on the 25th of June and stayed two night with my wife. Doreen was on time for the check in and very helpful, her apartment was one of the best I have ever seen, the decor was amazing and the place was equipt with everything you need, there was nothing left out, location brilliant, right near a bus stop and not far away walk from the railway station. The supermarkets were seconds away from the apartment, 5 star from me and my girlfriend, would not hesitate to come back and stay at this apartment again, thank you Doreen
My husband and I loved our stay here in London. I highly recommend. The hosts are very friendly. We were so fortunate to stay at their flat. The location is very accessible for transportation. We rode the bus and subway daily. It's only a 30 minute subway ride into the tourist areas. The subway system is very easy to learn. We didn't have any problems finding our way around. Plus. you are near a lot of places to eat. There is so much available in the area from Indian cuisine, great pubs, or even fast food. The flat is also on top of a small grocery store, which is extremely convenient for those items that you may have forgotten. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see London.
Me and my husband stayed there for five days and our stay was awesome.
Great place and a tidy, well decorated ,with all amenities ,warm large room.
Room is exactly same as shown in the pictures.
Accommodation area :very nice, all shops, restaurants nearby and very close bus stop .
Doreen (the owner) was very friendly and accommodating.

The apartment is located in a very convenient location. Immediately there is a supermarket, wine bar, takeaways, post office and many more. Just a short stroll down the road is the open common space to sit down and relax while you enjoy the scenery around you. From outside the apartment a 5 minutes bus ride will take you to the nearest underground station (Tooting Broadway) which gets you into the city where there is a vast array of entertainment and activities from art galleries and historical treasures to markets and famous shopping streets.
