The house is named the Lemon Drop from all the people which have stayed with us in the past. This great 2 bedroom 2 bath home has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Key Colony Beach. Lush landscaping with key lime, Persian lime, Myers lemon, 2 mango, 2 fig, 2 star fruit, banana, papaya, avocado and 32 palm trees which will provide you a private and tranquil location to recharge your batteries.
The home has a private salt water pool and jacuzzi that's perfect for cooling off or heating up after a long day on the water. Or you can lie in the hammock under 2 palm trees or sit in the beach chairs under a canopy of palms both overlooking the pool and canal. There are 4 lounge chairs and a separate table and chairs around the pool for ample sitting/lounging.
Both bedrooms have there own attached bathrooms which is prefect for 2 couples. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a 32' inch flat screen tv with cable.
The second guest room has both a double bed and a single bed with a 'hideaway' bed as well underneath so multiple guest can stay. The second guest room has a 24' TV with a dvd hook up. The lanai has a futon which can sleep 1 person as well.
A wonderful screened in porch provides guests with a great place to enjoy a drink and a good book. Use the blender to make a margarita while sitting on the porch over looking the pool and canal.
The living room has a wrap around couch and a 42 inch flat screen TV with cable and dvd hook up. This is a perfect place when you want to watch your favorite show or movie.
The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet meal or go outside to the BBQ and grill some steak or fish you just caught. Plenty of wine glasses or if you want to go the margarita route you can use the blender and there is plenty of glasses for sharing.
You can eat at the formal dining table, in the screened in porch, or out by the pool, all of which have table and chairs ready for you.
The back yard has 90 feet of water which is 1.5 lots compared to most houses in KCB. This will give you ample room to spread out or enough space for the kids to run. You can grill outside while others lounge in the pool chairs, hammocks or jsut sit around the dock.
There is 2 refrigerators for use: 1 inside for the food and one outside for your beverages of choice with a fish box/freeze attached for bait or other items. Either way there is plenty of room for all your food, drinks and bait (outside frig) so you can catch your next meal.
The sea wall runs 90 feet but I have my boat onthe lift in the middle of the wall. This provides you enough space to park a 25 foot bot behind mine or a 20 foot boat in front of the lift. I also have a working davit in case you bring a Sea Doo down and want to pull it out of the water.
You will need to bring a harness for the davit but the davit will lift the watercraft.
This house is 1 block from the cabana club and walking distance to Sparky's bar and grill or all the other shops located on the island. It is an easy walk from the Lemon Drop to anywhere on the island. If you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking in the driveway with a covered garage as well. To the right of the house (on the property) there is parking for a 40 foot RV or boat if needed.
This Lemon drop is will keep you coming back! You will not find another house like this on Key Colony Beach.
