Unbeatable Location

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 8 nights for our 10th wedding anniversary and we loved it. We toured most of the city during our trip and both agreed that there didn't seem to be a better location to see the sights of Paris, enjoy the amazing food, and feel a part of the culture. Only a few minutes walk to the Louvre, Orsay, Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, a bunch of really cool churches, and too many great restaurants to name. Also a 5 minute walk to a central metro stop.
A few blocks away from the river and you're in the heart of the St. Germain neighborhood. Great bistros, bars, cafes, a nice market, and plenty of shopping.
The apartment was very clean, well kept, as advertised, and the owner and manager were very responsive, professional and easy to deal with.
Our only "complaints" were the same ones everyone else has written about - the stairs are a drag and the tub isn't comfortable. It was also a little noisy at night, which we weren't expecting (nothing that couldn't be solved with some wine and ear plugs...) But these are minor inconveniences which we chalked up to being just another part of the Paris experience, easily and significantly outweighed by the apartment itself and its location.
