Relax and enjoy spectacular ocean, beach and sunset views from this 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 2nd level Pajaro Dunes oceanfront condo (Shorebirds) on Monterey Bay; located between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Pictures are taken from the bedroom, living room, and deck. Fully furnished, including linens and departure cleaning. Located in a gated community and has ramp access. Golf at world renowned courses 40 minutes to the south, shop at nearby Santa Cruz, Carmel, Monterey, or drive about an hour north to San Francisco for the day.

This is one of the best Pajaro Dunes vacation rentals overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean and Sunset State Beach. Pets are not permitted due to condominium association rules. This is a non smoking condo.

We loved everything about this condo. It's right on the beach where you can walk quite a distance both directions. We watched stunning sunsets each night! It was just the perfect size and had everything we needed. It was very quiet so we were able to receive some much needed R & R! Kishan was so friendly and helpful over the phone. Anyone who stays here will not be disappointed! We hope to return again next year!

Great Views and sound of the ocean

My Husband & I had a last minute getaway. We love to stay on the coast and close to the ocean. I search for hours for the best place. We have stayed at many places up and down the coast and this is the closest so far. I have used VBRO many times and love the pics and descriptions.
The owner was the first to get back to me and the price was right for "off season". She even let us in early because no one was there right before us. So we decided to go Whale watching in Santa Cruz.
This Condo had everything you needed to "live" for days. We went to the store and bought food to cook because we did not want to leave the condo. We did discover the store and gift shop on our way out and they had the basics for food/wood/sweats and other beach items.
The beach was right outside and down some stairs. We walked for miles on an empty beach. I collected sand dollars and shells and took hundreds of pictures of the waves and the birds. The condo had a bird poster on the wall that was perfect for identifying all of them.
My husband made me a nice fire log and we chilled out to the sound of the waves. It was a bit cold to have a beach fire but there was a place to have them right down the steps. It also had a great outdoor shower for you and your feet.
I spent most of my time on the beach but we drive to Santa Cruz for the whale watch and lunch. Go early.
We will defiantly be back. It is only an 1hr 15 min drive from our house but still feels like a million miles away.
Great communication with owner. Will recommend to my customers @ the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in SF. My customers love to hear about my mini staycations. They loved the pics of the whales we saw.
The best part is that you are secluded from everything but still close. This condo complex was very quite. I didn't see any kids. (whoo Hoo) but it was off season and there is not much for them to do. You could hear the people upstairs a bit but we were not inside much.
We will be back..soon...

OUTSTANDING UPGRADES TO AN ALREADY GORGEOUS CONDO

I have stayed in the condo once a year for a decade. The new owners have made terrific upgrades: new windows and glass doors, new "sleep in a cloud" KING pedestal bed, new leather sofa, and new fridge. This is truly the BEST view in the Pajaro Dunes complex. It is reasonably priced. The owner is very cordial and collaborative. Amenities include: a true 180 degree view, beach chairs and umbrella, and basic kitchen and laundry supplies. Visit soon...but not during MY time!!!

We had a great time at this location. Excellent value, awesome view, the kids loved it. The condo was clean and well appointed. We have stayed at various vacation rentals in the area when we visit family, and this was the best. We will definitely be back.
