The property is located in the heart of Seacoast NH. We have the good fortune of living between two historic seaports...Portsmouth, NH and Newburyport, MA, and are able to offer all the tourist attractions that accompany an oceanside location. In addition, the location is a one hour car ride from both Boston, MA and Portland, ME. We believe this area will offer visitors the best of everything there is. Portsmouth, NH, a fifteen minute ride by car, is a treasure trove of fine restaurants, offering dining for all tastes. It is a vibrant place with wonderful shops and shopping opportunities. Another fifteen minute ride north of Portsmouth the avid shopper will find the Kittery Outlet Malls, another bonanza for the shopper in each of us. Back in Portsmouth one will enjoy live theatre in Prescott Park, located in a lovely park area on the banks of the Piscataqua River. Only a stoll across the street is historic Strawbery Banke, displaying restored and beautifully preserved historic homes from a by-gone era. The wonderful Strawbery Banke Museum offers a look into the historic seaport area as it once existed. Portsmouth is a perfect city for the tourist interested in exploring a small, picturesque city on foot. Once you return to the Park Ridge property you return to a lovely neighborhood, comfortably removed from busy tourist traffic. The sports enthusiast will be able to find golf at local public courses, tennis courts, wonderful biking opportunities along the beach road, and lovely beaches to walk.
