Pont D'Ouilly - a pretty riverside town:
Pont D'Ouilly is a small, quaint and very pretty unspoilt riverside town. Among its facilities are 2 patisseries, butcher, post office, pharmacy, garage, mini supermarket, 2 bars and 5 good restaurants which between them offer a wide range of excellent regional cuisine. There is a fresh fish market every Friday and a general market on Sundays throughout the year. A tea dance on the river bank takes place every Sunday during the summer. There is a park with children's play area and tennis courts. A swimming pool is within 7 kms.
Canoes and kayaks can be hired, and there are many beautiful walks and mountain bike routes, some short and easy, others long and challenging. One and two week fishing licences are available. Horse riding is very popular in this area and there are many local stables where horses and ponies can be hired.
