Thanks for looking at our guest suite. Our century old home is located in beautiful uptown New Orleans very near Tulane and Loyola Universities.
We are 2 houses away from the historic streetcar line that runs to the French Quarter and back. The space is composed of a huge living area, rustically decorated with family memorabilia, animal mounts, a pool table, bar, sleeper queen sofa and big screen cable TV.
The sitting room, queen bedroom and bath are newly renovated. Mardi Gras memorabilia surrounds you in this historic art studio.
We look forward to having you visit our home. Please no pets allowed and absolutely no smoking allowed. Maximum of 4 guests allowed in the space at all times unless discussed previously.

My wife and I recently stayed at this property for 5 nights and had 2 different couples stay with us several of those nights. Please read Tim W's review that follows mine for a great description of the property and the owners. I concur with everything he said. I would like to add that my guests did use the fold out sofa bed and found it very comfortable. There is also FREE on the street parking in front of the house. The location is outstanding, being only 1 block from the St. Charles street car line that goes down town and across the street from the French Quarter. Even better, the house is 6 blocks from our favorite NOLA restaurant, Vincent's on St. Charles. There are also many other fine dining and po-boy restaurants in the Uptown area. The house is within walking distance of the fabulous NOLA zoo, Audubon Park, Tulane and Loyola Universities. I have already referred several people to this property and will continue to refer others. This is definitely our first choice of a place to stay in NOLA. While no authority on NOLA, I would like to say my wife and I lived in the Uptown area of NOLA for 18 months, ate in many NOLA restaurants, and prefer this area of the city to any other. We want to say a big thank you to Staci and Trey for such a wonderful place to stay at a reasonable rate. We hope to visit you again soon.
My wife and I recently stayed in this beautiful, private home behind a home for 3 nights. Staci and Trey were great hosts...everything was simple and as advertised from booking through departure. Trey met us when we arrived, showed us around the chalet, shared some of the artist's workshop history, and gave us some restaurant suggestions and directions. The bedroom area was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was large with two separate vanities and a large shower. The linens and bedding were top notch. Then there is the huge former artist workshop that has a pool table, bar, slot machines, mounted buffalo and deer heads, an eclectic mix of Mardi Gras memorabilia, and a very comfortable couch and large flat screen tv area. While we did not use the pull out couch bed, this would easily accomodate two more guest. The location was fantastic...we brought our bikes and were able to ride anywhere in town in 5-20 minutes. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
We had the most enjoyable four nights in this great chalet! We loved the neighborhood and the entire atmosphere. Staci & Trey were the best and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the property...actually staying in the same place as a famous sculptor was so fun. The amenities were outstanding..a perfect mix of the old and the new. Can't wait to go back in the spring! So much better then a stuffy hotel room.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to return to this wonderful suite. It was the perfect home base when I attended our daughter's Tulane Law School graduation activities and helped her get ready to move. When some friends joined us for a mid-afternoon break, they were amazed and a little jealous that I'd found such a wonderful place. As always, Staci was a very gracious host and even made sure that the unit was ready early when I returned for the second half of my stay. If you're coming to New Orleans, this is a perfect place to stay!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience renting this beautiful chalet. It is spacious, clean & even better than pictured. We loved the privacy & convenience of the location. We were able to walk to Tulane & Loyola for my son's college tours. We drove to the St. Louis Cathedral for mass but could have taken the street car which is only a minute walk from the home. Staci was so wonderful to rent from. She even had the sofa bed made & ready for us because we arrived very late! I can't say enough good things about our long weekend here. If my son does attend college in New Orleans I know where we will be staying when we visit. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Incredible place to stay. My husband and I spent a long weekend here during Mardi Gras. We've been to New Orleans several times over the years, and this is by far our favorite place we've stayed.
Reasons to love it: spacious, comfortable, private, had everything we needed, cool vibe, pool table, beautiful neighborhood, quiet block, close to streetcar, easy to get to fun places to go out, awesome hosts in Staci and Trey. They were easy to communicate with and very hospitable.
On second thought, I hope you don't love it too much because then it might not be available the next time we want to go.
