Photos and Description of the Hudson Bend vacation lodge rental
3 bedroom, 3 bath, sleeps up to 7 people comfortably

The views from the property are magnificent! Sunset views are beautiful each and every night. Located 1.2 miles from the main road, you're removed from the noise of other cars and traffic but you can easily access all area attractions.

The property is located close to Carlos N Charlies, Iguana Grill, The Oasis & The Shore Club @ Volente Beach. Volente is great for kids & adults. They have pools for children, adult only pool w/ swim up tiki bar, sandy beachfront & volleyball courts!). The Backyard music venue isn't far. Artists such as Willie Nelson, Colbie Colliet, Huey Lewis played there this summer! It's also close to The Lakeway Resort & Spa and Lake Austin Spa if you want to pamper yourself for a day!

There is not 1 large house, instead there is a main house, & 2 separate cottages lending itself to a more lodgy relaxed atmosphere. There's also a 3 car garage that has been turned into a gameroom with a ping pong table!

This retreat is perfect for 3 couples, or for a young family. It's also spectacular for 1 couple who wants to get away and have a romantic weekend. We call the main house, 'The Honeymoon Suite' because of the layout and the spectacular view of the lake from the bedroom!

If you're lucky, you may see a couple of foxes and bunnies sniffing around!

We have had a number of people interested in having small wedding ceremonies in the backyard!

Bedroom / Bathroom Description:

The main house, is romantic with an uninterupted view of Lake Travis. This is 1 bedroom, 1 bath with a kitchen and living great-room. In addition to a copper indoor shower, there is also a nice private outdoor shower with walls of limestone for 100% privacy.

The 2nd bedroom, 'The Cabin,' also has spectacular views of the lake. There are two walls of windows with spectacular views. The cabin shower is also a fun outdoor limestone for 100% privacy.

The 3rd bedroom, 'The Apartment,' is located at the top of the exterior stairs with it's own patio. This is the ultimate room for privacy as the front door opens at tree level creating a 'foresty' feel.

Suitable for children depending on their age because of the layout of the property. There are 3 buildings and 3 bedrooms which are all acessed through exterior paths, not interior hallways. Elderly or Infirm: The Main house is comfortable for eldery but the Apartment would not be as suitable.

Unbelievable! This property is even more gorgeous in person! We were absolutely thrilled that we stayed here for our holiday. The views of the lake are breathtaking and there is a charming outdoor area perfect for watching the sunset over the lake with friends. All cottages are exquisitely decorated and reminded me of a luxury California chic bed and breakfast in Napa. The main cottage has the most charming and comfortable living area, eat in kitchen, and full kitchen. The bedroom in the main cottage is straight out of a magazine! The luxurious bed is positioned directly in front of a huge picture window over looking the lake! The couple that drew the straw for this cottage actually cheered and jumped up and down! Two of the three cottages have private outdoor showers! We couldnt have picked a better place. We WILL book again!
