Location

Casa Luzia is a Luxurious and Spacious 4 bedroom Villa in Tavira, the most attractive and unspoiled town in the Algarve. Situated on a 600 sq.m. private fenced site in a quiet area, this stunning property offers very comfortable and tasteful furnishings, and benefits from Air Conditioning in every room.

Rooms

3 of the bedrooms are en-suite while the fourth has an adjacent bathroom. The open-plan living room has three sofas and Sky TV, and the dining table seats eight guests. There is a fully-equipped Kitchen and also a Bar-B-Q for outdoor cooking.

Outside

Relax on the cool, covered terrace where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a refreshing drink with stunning views of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Cool down in the swimming pool surrounded by flowerbeds and fruit trees, or retire to one of the furnished terraces upstairs. The 8m x 4.5m Swimming Pool is suitable for all ages, and ample sun beds, umbrellas and pool furniture is provided.

Rental Notes:

- Welcome pack with refreshments and food basics to help you settle in

- Bathroom towels and bed linen provided – not beach towels

- Full cleaning service at the end of 1 weeks' stay, or maid visit in the middle of a 2-week stay

- Weekly pool and garden maintenance

- Arrivals from 3pm and departure before 10am, but we try to be flexible

Directions to Villa: Detailed directions will be forwarded to clients. Straightforward from Faro airport. Also, convenient for Lisbon and Seville airports.

Plenty of cheap taxis. Local bus service.

Beaches

Casa Luzia is near some of the best Beaches on the Algarve which are rarely crowded even in the height of summer. Tavira's main beach is the Ilha de Tavira, where the 11km of sand provide an idyllic spot to sunbathe and relax. The wide, safe and clean beach has a choice of restaurants and beach bars. Other extensive sandy beaches at Manta Rota, Cabanas and Barril are also highly recommended.

Golf

Benamor and Quinta da Ria / Quinta de Cima courses are just a couple of minutes away. Other courses within a very short drive from the Villa include Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale, as well as the exclusive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nichlaus. It takes 20 minutes to reach courses in Spain or 30 minutes drive to the Vilamoura / Quinta do Lago area.

Activities

The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers alike. If you prefer a little more strenuous exercise there is also a local Kite-Surfing school, Horse Riding or Tennis.

Other Activities: Bird-watching, nature walks, sailing. Our guests qualify for discounted rates with Formosamar, a company that runs organised eco-activities.

You can plan your golf in advance of your visit to Casa Luzia. We can organise reduced green fees for guests, and it is now possible to save time and hassle by pre-booking and collecting hired clubs at Faro airport.

There is a nearby golf shop for any accessories that you might need. They also provide club hire.

We stayed July 5th to July 12th.There were six of us and we had a really great time,the welcome pack was really appreciated Heath was very helpful and could not do enough to help. The villa was out of this world.
It was a home from home.
Thoroughly recommended, taxis very cheap and plentiful.
Tavira was lovely as were the people.
Great communication from Lucy, very helpful even organised a taxi from the airport.
It was our first villa holiday and I am sure we will return again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Excellent Golf Holiday

We had a great holiday and got home safely - the villa was great and we spent a lot of time in and around the pool, helped by the great weather!

Golf at Monte Rei was fantastic and I would highly recommend it - we played before 9.30 so got a free meal included.

Endless entertainment for our little boy

We are back to earth with a bump - so cold here when we got home!

We had a great time in Casa Luzia - your villa is fantastic - really beautiful, and it was so well equipped with everything we could need. The pool and garden area provided endless entertainment for our little boy - not to mention some chill-out time for the adults!
