Guestbook comments from the owner
We would definitely recommend this villa and have just returned from a great holiday - 6 adults, two toddlers and one baby. It was just perfect for us as it is so spacious and well equipped. Lucy was very responsive before we left the UK, and Heath, who manages it, was on hand and was really helpful, particularly when we needed a doctor.
We spent a lot of time at the villa which was in a semi-rural location with a lovely view, but a short drive from beaches, shops, and into the centre of the historic town of Tavira which was very attractive. Food and drink was not expensive even on the beach and there were so many gorgeous beaches to choose from, some of which you access by boat or train (which was all part of the fun for us), but there are also some that you can walk onto. Every beach had somewhere to buy drinks and food and most had showers.
We ate in the villa mostly as we had a young family and there is a big bbq on the patio. Tavira is less touristy than the central part of the Algarve and has no unattractive high rise buildings. Spain is a half hour drive and we spent a day in Seville which took about 1.5 hours. We loved it.
