Los Lagos de Santa Maria Golf is perched on the rising land overlooking the golf course with sea views over the Mediterranean which form the backdrop to this idyllic setting. It is located in the exclusive district of Elviria. It is 30 mins from Malaga airport and 20 mins from the millionaire’s paradise port of Puerto Banus, popular for its restaurants and high life. In addition to Santa Maria golf course there are several other renowned golf courses nearby. Close to beaches and the picturesque port of Cabopino. For families there are many attractions including: Tivoli World, Aqualand, Zoo, cable car. There are tennis courts and bowling in the complex.

Elviria La Romana beach is approximately 5 minutes away by car and is one of the best on the coast. During the Summer months there is jet skiing and water skiing along with fun boats for the kids.

And for the adults there is Nikki Beach behind the 5* Don Carlos resort boasting it's infamous beach parties each week through the summer.

The Costa Del Sol / Malaga Region: The Costa del Sol is the quickest route to the sun. The best climate in Europe and great beaches that are more accessible thanks to improving infrastructure. There is a rich mixture of cultural & historic sites for those that want to explore along the coastline. For those that want to wine & dine after a hard days sunbathing then there are countless top quality restaurants, trendy bars and discos. For those with families there are many opportunities to try different water and land sporting activities as well as spending a relaxing day on one of the many beaches on the Costa del Sol. You really do have an opportunity to have a wonderful holiday whether it's peaceful and relaxing, or sporty and hectic you will find what you are looking for on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella / Elviria Area: Elviria is an established part of Marbella and only 30 minutes from Malaga airport. The area has a mixture of apartments, villa's and large townhouses. Los Lagos de Santa Maria apartments are a 15 minute walk to two commercial centres, where there is a good selection of fine restaurants, bars and shops including two Supermarkets - one open late at night and Sundays.

The Elviria La Romana beach is approximately 5 minutes by car or 25 min walk.

If you fancy some ten pin bowling or some shopping in fashionable shops and boutiques try La Canada (pronounced Canyada) a huge shopping centre only a 10 minutes from Los Lagos in the Marbella direction. A further 5 - 10 minutes further on and you arrive at the millionaires hang-out in beautiful Puerto Banus for even more great shops, restaurants and fabulous yachts in the port.

The Elviria area is a golfers paradise with many fine courses located nearby. Apart from the magnificent 18 hole Santa Maria course.

How to get there: Approximately 30 minutes by car from Malaga Airport. Taxis are also widely available at the airport.

Take the AP7/E15 toll road towards Cadiz on leaving the airport (keep right for slip road on). Leave the toll road at the Calahonda exit and take the A7/N340 coast road in the direction of Marbella. Elviria / Santa Maria exit is at the 192 km marker and is the exit after Cabopino and then Las Chapas.

Nearby Landmarks: Look out for the tall Don Carlos hotel on the horizon off to the left just after the Las Chapas exit (at night the sign is lit in large blue letters). On seeing this hotel you are only half a mile to the turning

Fabulous Apartment

FABULOUS APARTMENT - HOME FROM HOME

This property has it all. A beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated apartment, the terraces have modern rattan furniture and on the back terrace they have sun loungers and table and chairs for relaxing meals or a lazy afternoon with a good book. The front terrace has views over the Santa Maria golf course, and out to sea and (on a clear day) to Gibraltar and beyond. Close to apartment is a small pool which was very quiet and had a number of sun loungers. 100m away is the main pool area with a kiddies pool.

The location was great; quiet enough to be relaxing but with plenty to do within a short travelling distance (car recommended).

The owners Joe & Gerry were fantastic from the minute we booked until after we returned home. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was provided to help you feel at ease ...from detailed instructions and directions to 2 sets of golf clubs provided FOC (which we all made good use of) and Joe was on hand as we arrived to ensure we arrived safely.

This apartment has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay, and certainly feel like a home from home. Look forward to returning again in the near future.

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous!!

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week, whilst in Spain for our wedding!!We had spent a great deal of time trawling the internet for an apartment, and I am so pleased that we found this one, as we were over the moon with it! The apartment was just perfect for us and had a real touch of luxury and comfort ! It was extremely clean and well kept, and very spacious for a two bed apartment. The décor is lovely and modern, and it certainly has the wow factor! The apartment is equipped with everything you need, and the content is all of a really high standard, and is modern and classy!The bedrooms are really nice, our bed was extremely comfortable, and in the master room we could open up the window and catch a lovely view of the sea, which was a real treat!

The apartment has two beautiful terraces, one on the front with a lovely rattan seating area which has a stunning view which includes a view of the sea, perfect for relaxing over a glass of wine in the evening! The terrace on the back has an alfresco dining area with a classy parasol and two luxury sunbeds, which is great for chilling out on in the daytime! The pools are a good size and the water is really clean and refreshing, and they were surprisingly quiet even though it was peak season!

The apartment is in a great location, only 5/10 min drive to local amenities, which includes souvenir shops, supermarket and plenty of lovely restaurants and bars, and is only 10 min drive to the beach (the best beach in Marbella, with the famous Nikki Beach!).The apartment is locate just a stones throw from the beautiful Santa Maria Golf course, which even if you don't play golf is stunning to admire!

I would recommend a car for ease of travel, although there are taxi ranks too which we used when we went out for the night! The apartment has secure parking, and the whole complex feels very safe and relaxed, we hardly heard or saw a soul for the whole stay!

The owners are truelly fabulous, and they extended an extremely warm welcome to their holiday home, and made us feel extremely well come and happy. They were always there to help and provide any information that we needed throughout the booking process and beyond...and they really looked after us going above and beyond with their hospitality and service!

We were overwhelmed by our stay here, and would strongly recommend this apartment. We would love to return in the future!!

We preferred the main pool which meant a short walk up the hill but it was a great opportunity to stretch our legs in the morning. There was no shortage of places to eat in the evening. All very nice, some more pricey than others.

We would definitely visit again and are also considering your other apartment in Vera.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!

Stunning apartment, very high end, brilliant for golfers. Would recommend this apartment if you are looking for a home from home place to stay in Marbella. Lovely restaurants very close by and lots of different cuisines available. The apartment is two bedrooms which both have their own bathrooms!!!!!!!! Completely gated community so very secure. All mod cons and gated access to main pool area which is also stunning and very quiet. We will definitely be returning in 2013 as my husband plays golf there every year and we won't even consider looking for a different apartment. Joe & Gerry make you very welcome and are also very helpful and available to contact throughout your stay if required. Unfortunately it rained for the first 3 days of our stay but as the apartment was so comfortable and has English tv channels this was not a problem. Looking forward to next year already. Thank you.

Simply the Best !

We have been travelling to the Costa Del Sol area for our summer vacation for the past 10 years and this apartment is the very best we have ever stayed in; and believe me, we have stayed in some beautiful places ! Gerry & Joe were the perfect hosts, making sure every detail was attended to, so that all we had to do was enjoy the surroundings. The apartment itself is like a 'showhome' with every electrical appliance one could possible need and extremely stylish and comfortable furniture. The very clean and tidy pool is just nearby and we had the place to ourselves for 2 weeks, with only a handful of other people for short periods of the day, but at whatever time we went, there was always free sunbeds and shading if we wanted. The apartment is just a few minutes drive from the town centre, which has a few nice bars and excellent restaurants and can even be reached with a brisk 15 minute walk. In summary, this apartment is outstanding and makes a perfect base for your holiday. 10 out of 10 all round !
