The apartment is 121m2 with a large 157m2 terrace, which enjoys all day sun.
It has been beautifully furnished and has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 1 king-size double & 2 twin rooms (one as a double). 2 bathrooms with bath & shower, one is en-suite.
It has a large fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, dinning table, terrace table & chairs & sun loungers.
The penthouse has a 32' Flat screen TV, Sky (BBC etc, bring your card for more channels) DVD, iPod docking station, TV with video, CD player, AIR CONDITIONING, heating & blackout blinds on all bedroom & living room windows.
As a resident you will have use of the large pool & children's pool (mid June-mid Sept), tennis court, paddle tennis, children's play area & landscaped gardens.
Par 72, 18-hole Golf course 3.5km away & Marina 3km away.
Great fish restaurants & beach bars all within an easy walking distance.
The main bedroom has a king size bed with full en-suite bathroom, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and heating system & blackout blinds on the windows.
The bedroom has double doors which open onto a Juliet balcony with views of the ocean.
Both second and third bedrooms have two single beds which can be pushed together to make doubles, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning / heating system & blackout blinds on the windows.
Both bedrooms share a full bathroom. The third bedroom has an additional TV with video player, making this an ideal room for children.
The large kitchen is fully fitted with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine and all necessary kitchenware and utensils.
The washing machine, iron & board & clothes airer are all found in the utility room.
The lounge & dining room has a large dining table and 6 chairs, flat screen TV with Sky (bring your card to view more programs), DVD player with films, CD player, iPod docking station and large L shaped sofa
Both the lounge and kitchen lead onto the huge (157m2) sun terrace which has stunning views along the sandy beach. The terrace has a covered pergola area which gives shade in summer and can be fully enclosed in the winter, creating another area to enjoy the sunshine.
There is an additional dining table and six chairs, sun loungers and large brick BBQ.
The secure complex has 1 large swimming pool (open mid may to mis September) and 1 smaller children's pool, a children's play area with swings and slide, beautiful gardens and secure underground parking for 2 cars, with direct lift access to the penthouse.
The area is a golfers paradise, from the local 18 hole course and driving range at Isla Canela to the excellent Villamoura, just an hour away in Portugal.
Occupants can obtain reduced green fees at the Isla Canela golf club. There are also practice courses with putting greens, a social club serving meals and drinks with a golf school, golf shop with buggies for hire.
The beautiful, local town of Ayamonte stands high above the river Guadiana, just across the Spanish border with Portugal. There are neatly whitewashed houses and pleasant squares to sit with a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.
There is a beautiful promenade along the harbour that is lined with palm trees and the town has a daily fish market, just perfect for the BBQ.
There are many superb fish and tapas restaurants to sample, the residents are friendly and welcoming. This is a great way to experience authentic Spain.
Seville is Andalucia's biggest and most exciting city, it lies on the banks of the Guadalquivir river and is one of the largest historical centres of Europe. It is also one of the homes of Flamenco and bullfighting and has great shopping and nightlife.
Above all, Seville is an atmosphere and Sevillans most certainly know how to enjoy life.
Seville is just over a 1-hour drive away.

We bought this particular penthouse because of the fantastic terrace space and the superb views of the beach. The complex is secure and located in a quite area, but with the benefit of a short stroll to local restaurants and beach bars.
What makes this apartment unique
The terrace is unique. It is huge and allows you to spend time around the apartment, especially if you have young children that may need a mid day respite from the sun.
The brick BBQ is a must have on the terrace, allowing you to fully enjoy alfresco living. With a superb fresh fish market in the local town of Ayamonte.

A hidden gem
Not many British people know of this part of Spain and this is why we love it. The penthouse/apartment lived up to expectations , if not more. It was home from home. Clean, modern and had all the facilities you needed. Fabulous Penthouse, great outdoor space and great views. Isla Canela is a great place to stay with great beaches, bars, restaurants. a great area to take your family to either explore the local area or just relax by the pool/beach.
