The West Coast of Mayo is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and has long attracted Artists, writers and craftsmen to its shores. It has an abundance of activities to offer the outdoor enthusiast. Golf,horse riding and health spas are plentiful in the Georgian town of Westport located 13 miles away and there is a sailing school on Collanmore Island. Louisburgh is a traditional Irish village only one mile away. It is a friendly community providing local amenities, cosy pubs and good restaurants. Two hours drive South will bring you to Galway City of Oyster Festival fame and the same distance North is Sligo (Yeats' county).
