In this special suite you have a unique panoramic view of palm trees, Lummus Park, and the ocean beyond. You are part of the action as you watch people go to and from the beach, play volleyball, walk, bike and rollerblade the beautiful boardwalk with its curving stone coral walls and wide paths. You may even see models & movies being shot outside your windows.

This is a Boutique Condominium with 41 residential units on 3 floors. It's unique Art Deco features caused it to be placed on the National Historic Register. It was built in 1937 and was completely renovated and converted to private condos in 1996.

Great SOBE vacation!

This little condo is in a great location! Prime SOBE, easy to get around. The beach is literally across the street, which was beautiful. Owner was very easy to communicate with and attentive to our needs. The condo was actually quite larger than I expected and very clean. The bed was also super comfortable! The microwave and fridge were key for late night snacks. It would've been nice to have extra towels and/or access to extra towels for the beach, but we managed.

VERY nice...

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Barbizon. Although located at the south end of South Beach, it was within easy walking distance of everything in South Beach as well as South Point. The unit itself was very nice, had internet access, plenty of bedding and towels. It was as nice as when I stayed at the Cardozo Hotel. Like most places in SB, there was a restaurant located at the facility, but noise was not an issue. The "only" downside, and this is true of many facilities in South Beach, is that the floor is a hard surface, not carpeted. Which means, there are times when you can hear people walking around in the unit above. Not a big deal, just be aware.

I recently stayed at the Barbizon Condominiums. This building and the rental unit was perfectly located at 6th St. and Ocean Dr. which was within walking distance to the beach, retail stores, restaurants, and of course the nightlife! This location was not overwhelmed with noise yet easily accessible to all of the attractions. The owners were welcoming and very hospitable. The unit was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette could be updated but otherwise, it was great. I look forward to staying again.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
