LUXURY APARTMENT, ULTRA CENTRE OF PARIS, NEAR THE LOUVRE MUSEUM

2nd Arrondissement Bourse Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Village Montorgueil (75002), next to the Seine, Notre Dame, Pompidou centre

Luxury apartment located in the most famous and the largest pedestrian area of the heart of Paris, 'le village Montorgueil' in the 2nd arrondissement. This lovely 50 sq.m 2 -room apartment including a huge entrance, a large kitchen, a living room, a large bedroom and a shower room offers you maximum comfort and total quiet, essential for a wonderful stay.

Flooded with light, without any noise, not overlooked, very well equipped (with top-of-the-range appliances such as the Siemens washing machine/dryer or the Bose home cinema system). With its gracious and refined style, it is both chic and friendly but above all welcoming and relaxing.

Its large exotic and tropical plants as well as the beautiful Amazonian aquarium with its multicoloured fishes (which children are crazy about) end to give to this apartment all its charm and uniqueness of being a 'haven of peace in the heart of Paris', as our guests often say.

Located in a wonderful Haussman building of the end of the 19th century, very secure (a digital lock, housekeeper and entry phone), it is located on the 5th floor, with a recent glass-lift that will take you there, perfect !

Armoured door, massive oak floor, mouldings ( those of the living room are real wonders), Italian tiles... or wall composed of small natural lava pebbles will delight you.

Of course, the apartment is completely furnished. The kitchen with complete equipment (fridge/freezer, convection oven, microwave oven, vitroceramic cooktop, extractor hood, dishwasher, washer/dryer...) is in solid alder wood.

Two exquisite black leather couches including one 'Chesterfield' for 3 persons and the other convertible in a large bed for 2 adults (140 x 200 cm when open) will welcome you in the living room (there again, the equipment is very important with LCD television - flat screen television, home cinema, DVD player, CD, radio, cable, high speed Internet, Wi-Fi and phone will allow you to phone for free towards numerous countries).

A noteworthy queen bed (160 x 200 cm) very comfortable thanks to the top-of-the-range bedding and a dressing room await you in the bedroom, as well as a safe and a glass and steel desk.

Contemporary pieces of a young French artist adorn the light walls.

The shower room (completely covered with a luxury mosaic), cascade taps as well as the subtle 'rain' shower system should not be missed, and ventilation complete your comfort.

You can find dimmers in the entire apartment, this allows you to change the ambiance depending on your wishes but especially for a cosier ambiance.

Ambiance, ambiance...

Finally, two powerful, indispensable air-conditioning units refresh the apartment during the summer months.

As for the view, it is a must, as the two large French doors open on the 'mythical roofs of Paris', love at first sight guaranteed...

Its central position is ideal to discover Paris. You only need a few minutes to go on foot, and from the apartment, to the wonderful Louvre museum (and so the Louvre Pyramid), to the Pompidou Centre, to the sublime Tuileries Garden, to the Palais-Royal gardens, to the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, to Le Marais district that cannot be missed or the mythical 'Saint-Germain-des-Prés', and of course to wander along the 'Seine' river where at night, the name 'Paris ville des Lumières' becomes evident.

It is important as well to underline that the security of the district is complete and guaranteed.

The access to the apartment is very easy: from the 'Roissy Charles de Gaulle' and the 'Orly' airports, you'll have to take the RER B up to 'les Halles' station (it's very fast and direct, between 35 and 40 minutes). From 'Gare du Nord' and 'Gare de Lyon', 15 minutes via cab, metro (line 4, 'les Halles' station) or RER. Many bus lines (lines 29-34-38-47-67-74-85) as well as metros (line 3 'Sentier' station, line 4 'les Halles' or 'Etienne Marcel' stations) and RER (A-B-D).

And naturally, the very central location of the apartment makes the accesses to Euro-Disney or to the Versailles castle very easy and very fast (approx. 45 min on average in RER).

The district is chic and trendy, with a 'bobo' population (the much talked-about bourgeois bohemians), young and dynamic. It is good to walk there and to have a coffee sit at one of the innumerable terraces, or go shopping for fresh products in the very abundant fruit, vegetable, meat, fish shops... which dot the Montorgueil street, with its famous 'Stohrer' bakery that is certainly one of Paris's finest...

For those who love fashion, this is a delight, beautiful boutiques of the greatest names are a few steps away from the apartment. For those who love antiques, the 'Passage du Grand Cerf' and the 'Galerie Vivienne' are very close.

It is actually such a charming district, so nice, which offers such quality of life, its privileged residents have affectionately called it 'le Village Montorgueil' and that, unlike Le Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Prés districts - very touristic - keeps all its authenticity and Parisian uniqueness, being a 'real district of Paris'.

Welcome to one of the jewels of the capital, welcome to the Village Montorgueil.

(Regarding the aquarium and the exotic plants, I'll make one very quick visit, one or two minutes are enough (and of course the guests don't need to be present), to feed the fishes and take care of the plants

Your attention if you please-The apartment is for rent only a few week or months a year, being held by his owner the rest of the year..

EXCELLENT LOCATION, PERFECT APARTMENT

  • 5 of 5
My wife and I are just back from our first trip to Paris and a two-night stay at this beautiful and well-maintained apartment. The location is terrific -- a half block from Rue de Montreguil (where markets, bakeries, cheese and wine shops abound) and less than a 10-minute stroll to the Louvre.

The apartment is quite spacious for a 1 bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern, the bedroom is cozy, and the bed is very comfortable. There is plenty of storage as well.

One of the best parts of the experience was dealing with Stephane. He was a huge help as we planned the trip -- answering our questions about the apartment and the area quickly and thoroughly. He was on time for both check-in and check-out, and he provided lots of tips about the apartment when we arrived, as well as a couple of excellent restaurant recommendations.

We loved Paris and Stephane's apartment was one of the highlights. I'd highly recommend it to anyone and expect that my family will return someday soon.

MAGNIFICO DEPARTAMENTO A 2 CUADRAS DEL LOUVRE

  • 5 of 5

CHARMING APARTMENT, GREAT LOCATION, WONDERFUL HOST

  • 5 of 5
My friends and I very much appreciated our stay at this wonderful apppartment, so clean, comfortable and picturesque. The location is very convenient as it is close to the metro and practically in the center of Paris (Louvre is accesible on foot as well as Notre Damme / Ile de la Cite). Stephane is a very charming and welcoming host. His advice on the best cafes, restaurants, points of interest proved invaluable and made our holiday unforgetable (Cafe Lizard, across the street has great food, great atmosphere and seems to be very appreciated by locals). The famous Rue Montorgueil with its boulangeries, cafes and traditional shops (where you can buy fresh fruit, bread, cheese and wine for a lovely picnic) is right around the corner.
Thank you very much Stephane !

QUIET PAD IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY!

  • 5 of 5
Stephane was a wonderful host for a clean, well maintained and quiet apartment in the middle of a busy cafe and shopping district. The kitchen and bath were clean and in wonderful condition. The living room was large and would have been comfortable for up to 4 persons. The queen sized bed was very comfortable. And for good or for bad, the desk and Internet access were helpful for the occasional work that just couldn't wait until the trip was over.

Stephane was polite and extremely helpful, not only the first time I asked the typical tourist questions but also the second and third times I asked the same questions. He offered many excellent suggestions for restaurants, bakeries, cafes, shopping and transportation--a veritable tour guide without the flag or umbrella! I always wondered whether these glowing reviews online were written by friends and relatives of the proprietor, but I can assure you that Stephane's apartment was truly enjoyable, and I consider Stephane to be a true friend to the visitors to Paris! When I return, I will contact Stephane again.

50 sq.m luxurious apartment located in wonderful Haussman building from the end of the 19th century, in one of the most famous pedestrian districts of Paris centre: 'le village Montorgueil', in the 2nd arrondissement, which is an animated area, very vibrant and where there is complete security, just as there is generally in Paris centre.

Its central position is ideal to discover Paris. You only need a few minutes to get around on foot, and from the apartment, to the wonderful Louvre museum, to the Pompidou Centre, to the sublime Tuileries Garden, to the Palais-Royal gardens, to Le Marais which should not be missed, to the unique Notre Dame Cathedral, to the Seine river or to the mythical 'Saint-Germain-des-Prés'. The centre of Paris is full of wonders!!

Therefore, the Louvre museum is a few steps away, as well as the Pompidou Centre, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine, Le Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Prés districts.

Its very central position allows you to reach all these major tourist sites in the best conditions.

There are a lot of buses and metros, and despite the central location of the apartment, it is very quiet, flooded with light and of course, there is complete security.

The district is chic and trendy, with a 'bobo' population (the much talked-about bourgeois bohemians), young and dynamic. It is good to walk there and have a coffee sat at one of the innumerable terraces, or go shopping at the fresh products market.

For those who love fashion, they will be delighted, beautiful boutiques of the greatest names dot the streets. For those who love antiques, the 'Passage du Grand Cerf' and the 'Galerie Vivienne' are very close.

The access is very easy: from 'Roissy Charles de Gaulle' and 'Orly' airports, you'll have to take the RER B up to 'les Halles' station (it's very fast and direct, between 35 and 40 minutes).

To make a long story short, you'll stay in one of the most a la mode districts of Paris centre - less touristic than Le Marais or Saint-Germain-des-Prés, therefore more authentic, with wonderful Haussman buildings of the 18th and 19th century, in one of the largest pedestrian areas of Paris centre, where the cafés, the restaurants but also fashion and antiques shops are everywhere. All this staying a few minutes away from the Louvre museum (so from the Louvre Pyramid), from the Tuileries Garden, from the Palais-Royal gardens, from the Notre Dame Cathedral, from the Seine river, from Le Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Prés districts.

And all this in a 50 sq.m very comfortable apartment with top-of-the-range equipment, extremely quiet, flooded with light, not overlooked, on the 5th floor of an Haussman building (an all-in-glass lift will bring you to the apartment), in conditions of total security.

A 'royal' location as it is very central, for an unforgettable stay at the heart of Paris, 'la ville des Lumières' of innumerable wonders.

Welcome to the centre of Paris, welcome to the 'village Montorgueil'.

Notes:
Some large tropical plants as well as a large aquarium with multicoloured fish make this apartment a haven of peace, an oasis of freshness in the heart of Paris, city of lights. Each room has a window or a French door, which make the apartment very bright but nevertheless not overlooked as it is located on the 5th floor (with view over Paris's roofs) and as it is located on the courtyard side. Absolute quiet. This is a perfect apartment in which we would be delighted to welcome you. Please consider that a weekly visit is necessary for the maintenance of the aquarium and the plants (I do it personally, and in the most discrete way possible, moreover, I take the opportunity to take the rubbish or any rubbish out during my visit, that lasts no more than 2 or 3 minutes).
