Rustic luxury abounds in this 5 bedroom house only 1 mile from the ski slopes. Perfect for a family reunion or several families together, this house is fully outfitted for 12. Multiple living areas, pool table, 3 flat screen TV's and hot tub. Private back yard includes big deck with outdoor seating area and BBQ. Located at a trailhead for hiking or snow shoeing and an easy 5 minute walk to a local swimming hole. Both child and pet friendly. The whole house has been newly furnished.

Great getaway weekend!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Stowe Barn. There were 10 of us, all URI alumni '07, and there was plenty of room for all of us! The house was so clean and with all the small details and amentities it felt like we were staying in a hotel! The beds were also so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the plates and dishes we needed for cooking dinner all 3 nights we stayed there. We did have a small issue with the hot tub not warming up, but the Rental place called us back right away, as well as the Owner, to give us an update and they sent someone over to solve the problem that day. The house is minutes from Mt. Mansfield and also very close to town. All in all, we had a great weekend and are looking forward to coming back next year!

Family Ski Holiday to Stowe

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Stowe Barn. There wee 8 in our party from England for our ski trip. The pictures and description of the property were excatly as we found it and we were delighted witht he accomdation. The property was very clean and maintained to a very high standard and we found everything that we needed.
It was a great base to get up to the slopes as is it was a 5 minute drive to all the main lifts. We enjoyed a number of local restaurants and shops and the conveinence store just a few hundred meters away was really handy.
I would recommend it to any friends or family and in fact we as a party are already planning our next trip back to the Stowe Barn.
Thank you for providing such a great base for our fantastic holiday.

Perfect home to gather with friends!

We loved staying at Stowe Barn on our recent visit over MLK weekend. The floor plan is perfect for families with children as the kids can hangout on the lower floor and sleep together while the adults enjoy their time chatting and relaxing in the two areas with fireplaces. The beds were the most comfortable that we have experienced with a rental home - and this is our sixth home we have stayed at over the past three years. The mudroom area was great for gearing up for a great day of skiing and convenient for storing gear. The location cannot be beat as we were minutes from the mountain and around the corner from the Matterhorn. We hope to visit and stay at Stowe Barn on our future visits to Stowe.

Comfortable, upscale, and kid friendly

We spent a weekend at the Stowe Barn to celebrate my husband's birthday. The location of the home is perfect; very close to the ski resort, as well as all the shops and restaurants on Mountain Rd. We brought our two year old with us and he had a wonderful time. The home is very kid friendly with a baby gate, high chair, toys, a chalk board, and monitor all provided. The home was big enough for 3 families, but cozy for just a few people. The beds and comforters were so warm and comfortable as well. We would definitely go back.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Home in the Mountains!

Nine of us were so pleased with our accommodations at the Restored Barn in Stowe!
Beautiful, very clean, new, quiet, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the comforts of this home. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking Mt. Mansfield and a few games of pool while some friends enjoyed the warm summer nights on the spacious deck!
We hated to leave our homeaway and hope to return next year!!
A splendid retreat for a large gathering of friends and family!
